Premium Spacious Room with Kanchenjunga View

NitishRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Himalayan Hues in Gangtok for two nights. Located near SAP camp, it’s peaceful yet close to MG Marg. The owner, Piyush, is always helpful and guided us with our itinerary. The caretaker, Passang, made our stay memorable by assisting with cabs and cooking amazing food, especially Tibetan momos and dry aloo dum. Though we couldn’t see Kanchenjunga due to fog, the weather was great. The place felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Gangtok and want to stay away from the hustle and bustle. It’s perfect for a short or long stay. I’ll definitely come back, this time for a long stay!

The Singyang Village Estate

DedeepyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Extremely supportive, warm, and friendly hosts who took great care of us throughout our stay. Special mention to Gyatso and his wife, the staff and ofcourse the lovely pets. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. Though it’s a little away from the main town of Pelling, the peace, views, and hospitality make it totally worth it. Highly recommend!

Golden Peko(Rhododerdron):Views, trails

We were looking for a quiet corner in Darjeeling - away from the bustle and chaos of the Mall Road. Gurjeeb's place is perfect for that. It's located about 3 km away from the Mall Road, which gives it the kind of quiet and serenity we were after. One needs to drive about a minute down from the main road and then take a flight of stairs to reach Gurjeeb's place so if you want very easy accessibility, this is something you should consider. But the property itself is worth the effort. The room in the attic is big and pretty, with all basic amenities available. A special shoutout to Gurjeeb's cousin Sujan who looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. He helped us get our luggage up and down the property - which would have been a hassle otherwise - and made amazing local food for us. The Happy Valley Tea Estate is a 10-minute walking distance from here and it's quaint, quiet and amazing. Loved the overall vibe of the place and will love to return in the future.

The Little Paradise Kalimpong - Jasmine

Jyoti's place was really nice, a little further from the noise of city center, into the picturesque wilderness. We had a really nice stay for couple of days. They have a restaurant with the place where the food is awesome and the people (Niteshji and team) are absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this place.

The property is located in the mid of a tea garden. Beautiful place. Perfect for spending some time in the midst of lush green scenic beauty. On top of it Rebika is an awesome host. She took care of us very well. Approaching road is not perfect. But it's worth the trouble once you reach the place.

Daarapari - The art of Slow Living

ElinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Where to begin… Staying at Sristi’s farm was such an authentic and unforgettable experience. I had the chance to live alongside Sristi and her lovely family, and it gave me a genuine glimpse into their way of life. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home — Sristi has such a warm, welcoming energy, and we connected really naturally. She quickly felt more like a friend than a host. We shared some amazing moments together, including a trip to a beautiful river. There’s so much to do around the farm — whether you’re in the mood for hiking, exploring the nearby village (don’t miss the best samosa in West Sikkim!), or simply unwinding and soaking in the peaceful nature all around. And I can’t forget to mention the food — absolutely delicious, every single meal! Needless to say, I highly recommend staying here. It’s a special place, and one I’ll carry with me for a long time. Thank you Sristi!!! Until next time 🫶🏼

Misha - The Pine VillageStay

SumitRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Manisha and Zikmi were absolutely wonderful hosts. Right from the time we landed at NJP station, they were constantly checking in and guiding us on how to reach the property. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with a lovely cup of Darjeeling tea and a delicious dinner! And the meals that followed during our stay were all homely and super delicious. The rooms and the view were exactly as shown in the pictures, maybe even better. The property is about 2 km from Sukhia Bazaar, which makes it feel peaceful and offbeat - just what we needed. Throughout our stay, they were super helpful with local food recommendations and nearby places to explore. Also, suggested us a short and pretty trek down the road to a pine forest. They’re genuinely kind people who go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. Would surely be visiting again - for the view, for the food and mostly for the people :) Highly recommended!
