Beachfront holiday rental in Bicol

It is a very nice place near the ocean. Black sand beach, islands, Mayon volcano just nearby. Further (and farther) possibilities include snorkeling with whale sharks, hot springs, natural park with a nice view on a lake near volcano, waterfalls. In general, the place is great both to experience adventurous holiday and for relaxing vacation with children...

Super enjoyed our stay and the place is perfect because it is also located in the beach front and has own terrace. The internet connection is also super fast specially if you in a work from home setup while enjoying dipping in the beach. Just expect if it is peak month, there will be some noises from other neighborhood because other accomodations are just besides from each other. Luckily, We did not experience super loud music/sounds during night time so our sleep is perfect. All in all, great experience and this place is recommended! Thank you to the caretaker and the host. !

We were well accommodated by the host himself. The family served dinner and ate with us. If your looking for a native nipa hut accommodation in the Philippines, then this is the only place that gives you cheap but excellent hospitality. The locals treated us well and didn't take advantage because we were visitors. Definitely a place to stay by the beach and stay for a long time. Their place is not a tourist spot but there's a secret marine sanctuary next to them where you may go snorkeling and do trekking.

Went there but there was a storm, the place was still great for relaxing. Enjoyed swimming in the beach, I think the place would’ve been great if it was sunny. Hence, I will probably return in the summer. Host and staff were accommodating. Food was also good. No smart signal in the area. Wifi signal can be improved. Bring snacks since no supermarket near the area.

Very good destination if you want to stay at Virac, Adja and his family are awesome hosts, they will help you in any matters for you to spend the nicest days in Catanduanes! Thank you very much, we loved Happy island Inn!!

Mike & Yollie were amazing hosts! I had to get in touch with them through mobile though but they were very responsive then. We picked the place bc it was private, away from the crowded resorts. Note though that you will get charged extra boat fare bc this is not the usual route for boats. I highly suggest getting Yollie’s paluto service! Ask her the rate - you of course pay for the service and the ingredients. It is so worth it! (Ask for her sweet and sour fish - the recipe is a secret) I had a feast for my birthday with our boatmen - Noning, Joel, and James (they’re also the best!!!) ask for them ahead of time if you can! They took me to a private spot to snorkel my hearts content. If the weather is good, do opt to eat outside with the sunset view. I would definitely recommend Sunset for those like me looking for quiet respite. 🥰 Hope to be back again!!

Perfect example of an excellent resort. This is one of the best resort I have visited till now. Jen and all the staff were very helpful and friendly and always makes sure that we got everything that we needed. The house was well equipped and the furnitures and rooms are very clean. The location is also very easy to find. Just Waze the name of the resort and it will directly lead you there. From the balcony, we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze. It felt like we were just home. The beach has very clean and clear water and such a good place to relax and chill. The scenery by the beach was very beautiful and the view of the sunset was mesmerizing. The private pool area was also very cool and picturesque 😊 The whole area was spacious where you can do a lot of fun activities like basketball, badminton and other beach games Overall this is a fantastic place for a family holiday. Great for group outing and office team buildings too! Will definitely plan for our next stay here ❤️

I think this is the best resort in Balud. The beach is stunning, the staff is great, the food in the restaurant is good.

So in love with the place! We chose to park at the back of the property rather than in the designated parking at the nearby hotel. It was such an adventure driving on the bumpy off-road path, and we were already having a good time even before arriving at the property. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly caretakers, Kuya Dong and his wife Ate Dai. The place is just as you see in the photos: beautiful and captivating. During our 8-day Bicol adventure, I have to agree with my husband that this was our favorite place. It fit perfectly with our needs for a car camping setup. We set up our own kitchen just outside our cabin and brought our own camping fridge. The beachfront cabin is spacious and provided us with enough space for all our camping gear. It looks newly built, very clean, and well maintained. The water pressure is just right. The AC is small but surprisingly capable of cooling down the entire room on a hot sunny afternoon. Overall, I will give it 10/10!!

The owner has a nice collection of art from around the world. I especially liked the decor throughout the house and the use of color and natural woods.

Just a few things no mirror in the bathroom which made it hard to shave also no face cloths to wash your face in the morning and there was mosquitoes getting in the Cabana my wife was bitten many times I think you could solve that problem with door sweeps on the entrance doors because of the gaps when they are completely closed all in all very nice place the staff were excellent l would recommend this place top 10.

Loved our stay, even though it was a quick one—we were squeezing in lots of activities on a 2-day trip. The beach was peaceful and quiet. Slept like babies^^ The cabins are a short trek down from the road, and there weren’t any lights along the path, so we had to rely on flashlights. We were okay with it, but after a full day, it definitely felt longer. Kinda felt bad for the caretaker too—she had to trek up just for us when we arrived late. Would be great if the hosts could add some path/trail lights to make it safer. It felt more secluded than expected, but it turned out great. We checked in late after stops from Virac, and finding the place in the dark was tricky. (TBH, roads here in general have little to no lighting–don’t stay out too late if you’re not familiar) Tip: download an offline map (I used Google Maps) since most parts have little to no signal. For its price? Definitely worth it. A quiet and restful stay if you’re up for a bit of adventure~

We loved our time in Romytt’s beautiful Air B&B. The location is breathtaking, the surrounding small local fishing community was just the peace we needed and the warm and loving care with which the caretakers Diana and Baba showed us throughout our stay, with home cooked meals rides into town, suggestions, etc., were more than we could have asked for. The fact that this was all pulled off literally one day after a severe Typhoon was remarkable. We will never forget this trip. Quite honestly this Air B&B is best location and hole that you can call your own during your stay in Catanduanes. Until next time!
