Holiday houses in Big Piney River

This is my new favorite spot! the cabin is so beautiful with all the amenities you could use to be comfortable, it was better than being home.. The bubble bath with the view was amazing they even have a heater installed above so you stay warm in and out of the water!! The land it sits on is breath taking we saw a pair of bald eagles flying every day right at the edge of the cliff and it's a spectacular view. deer come right up to the cabin as well so if you enjoy the outdoors and peace this is the place for you. it's very private and there are two towns within 20 minutes and no expensive tourist prices just cute tiny towns. The bigger Rolla is less than an hour for more city like entertainment but I prefer the short drive down to the river where you can swim in the springs. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The host was so kind and quick responses for any questions we had. This is the ozark experience and I'm so thankful for my time here. can't wait to come back!!

Stayed at the rental retreat while having some guitar repairs done by Rosa String Works! Jerry and Susan are both amazing people and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Valley Springs Ranch. The rental retreat was neat as a pin, tastefully decorated and had modern appliances, kitchen utensils and coffee ready to be made! I can’t say enough good things about the accommodations and the people who own them! We hope to return again and enjoy another stay at this beautiful location!

Beautiful property with pond. Frogs croaking and rain gently tapping the metal roof lulled me to sleep in one of 4 well made beds. The door opens into a small living area. Behind is a kitchenette to one side and bathroom to the other. Above to the front and rear of the building are two lofts with 2 twin beds in each, all made nicely with plenty of pillows and blankets. (There is a full or queen size fold out below, but I didn’t bother to open.) This is a tiny home, so spaces are quite cozy. The roof slopes to either side with the center being the highest at roughly 2’. Upon entering one of the lofts with the attached sliding ladder, you will need to crawl to the beds. The space to wall side of the beds is about 1’. However, as long as one isn’t too claustrophobic, it’s very comfy. Especially with a drizzle pattering pleasantly directly above. Sally was amazing, met me on arrival and answered all my questions about the farm. She even left fresh eggs for breakfast!

A very nice & clean place to stay. Convenient location close to Montauk State Park, made for a great weekend fishing trip.

We really enjoyed our time here! The place was very spacious, with lots of amenities, especially in the kitchen. We were able to cook food with ease. The rooms and bathrooms were really nice too.

Mary Ann is very friendly and quick to respond. The Rancher Glamper had everything we needed and we enjoyed the hot tub, the view, and watching the cattle. We plan on going back this fall. Everything we expected it to be!

Peaceful, Unplugged, and Perfect Our stay was exactly what we needed — peaceful and grounding. The house is tucked away in the quiet countryside, and one of my favorite moments was sitting under the awning at night with a cup of coffee, watching fireflies dance around the orchard. There’s no WiFi, which turned out to be a real gift — it gave us a chance to truly unplug and enjoy quiet, quality time together as a family. If you're looking for a serene escape from the noise of everyday life, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and connected. Would absolutely stay again.

We booked this AirBnB to host our handfasting ceremony, and it could not have been more magical. From the moment we arrived, The Shire welcomed us with warmth, charm, and an undeniable sense of wonder. Roger was upfront about the limited parking, but it worked perfectly for our small, intimate gathering. If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan—or even just someone who appreciates whimsical, detailed spaces—you absolutely must visit. Every corner of The Shire is thoughtfully crafted, full of character and magic. It truly felt like stepping into another world, and yet still somehow like coming home. Our guests were blown away by the enchanting layout, and we’re so grateful to Roger for allowing us to hold our ceremony there. It was spotless, cozy, and filled with delightful touches that made the entire experience unforgettable. A few notes: there’s no TV, so bring a device if you want to watch The Hobbit—but honestly, you might not even miss it. Between the books, games, and sheer atmospher
