Cabin holiday rentals in Big Powderhorn Mountain

Beautiful location, quiet can see so many stars at night. We went in the Spring as we wanted to visit state parks in northern Wisconsin. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

The Lily Pad Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way.. The space was impeccably clean and the most well-stocked place we've ever stayed. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, it didn’t matter—our whole family had a fantastic time and was never bored. Kristin provided lots of great recommendations that really enhanced our stay. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

We had the most amazing time! We will most definitely be back. I couldn’t believe everything that was included. It truly felt like it was our house because everything was just so welcoming!! Incredible location - we LOVED it!

Cozy little cabin in the north woods. Comfortable beds. Nice enclosed patio. Located right on the lake. It has all the amenities you would need for a long weekend. We'll stocked kitchen with all the cookware you would need.

Always a great stay on Long Lake in Mercer. I have so many great memories of this place over the last 40 years that I have been coming there. Was sorry that the original owners sold Lucky's Resort, but was ecstatic that we could now rent one of the Cabins.

A great spot to enjoy the outdoors and feel like you have the island all to yourself. Quiet and secluded with a beautiful couple of nearby hikes that lead right up to the water.

Excellent cabin close to restaurants/bars but far enough and quiet to enjoy the moon and stars and in my case snow falling in a perfect wintery scene. If you own or rent snowmobile this is an ideal location as well. Cabin is perfectly laid out to maximize space and has everything you need. Cabin was clean with lots of details and Chad & Amber are excellent hosts, they were very responsive. The sofa is comfortable and can be pulled out for additional sleeping. TV in living room and one located in 2nd bedroom with twin bedrooms. There is an outdoor sauna did not utilize but there are lights and speakers pretty cool. It is a fabulous cabin I would definitely book again!

The cabin had everything I needed. Lots of wildlife. Tons of great day trips within two hours of the cabin.

Absolutely a lovely place to be! Everything you need and more. The cabin will not disappoint! Beautiful lake for water sports and relaxing. Nice restaurants close by and a kitchen and awesome grill with all the essentials. Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our time here! The location was perfect and the view is unbeatable. It’s obvious this place has been loved and cherished over the years and easy understand why. It’s a little rustic, like a cabin should be and having only one bathroom made me nervous initially but it was never an issue. Bonfires every night, card playing on the big dining room table, and sand castles on the beach. This lake house has a true Madeline Island vibe and we all want to come back soon.

Rented this for snowmobiling and a perfect location to get on gogebic. Overall perfect for what we are looking for. Ideally we could use a place with a couple bathrooms to speed mornings up but we knew that coming in. Could use some updated furniture as one person likes to sleep in a chair. Wish it had better tv options but luckily I brought my own wireless hotspot and fire stick to plug in.

This is the perfect “Northwoods” place. Had everything needed to enjoy a week of relaxation. Did have a scare upon arrival as my navigation system took me to the wrong place at first - let’s just say James’s place is much nicer than where navigation stopped me initially. The road to the cabin was a bit bumpy but kind of added to the experience. Overall, a great stay!

This place was sooo accommodating! There were games, music, and all the cookware we needed to plan our meals. Access to the lake was perfect, we took full advantage of the kayaks and paddle board..also brought an extra board from home. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Lake Gogebic.

Kim’s place is so beautiful. We were very comfortable in our cabin. The location can’t be beat for getting away from the city noises. The sounds of the loon were relaxing. We saw deer and eagles . Kim is very responsive with answering any questions or helping with getting settled in .

Enjoyable trip to the Northwoods. LOVED the dog friendly experience. Appreciated access to paddle boat.
