Very comfortable heated bed and bean bag to relax in the tent. We also provide nice hammocks outside. Enjoy S'mores outside by the smokless fire pit and connect with nature. We have a clean Porta pottie, so there's no squatting! Grocery store is only 100 yards away and there's lots of restaurants around as well. Golfing is close by.

Charming Log Cabin near Yellowstone

This stay was amazing! It had such an incredible view of the whole forest area both from the deck and from the living room. There were enough trees to make it feel isolated from surrounding cabins, but it was also relatively close to "civilization" for easy trips for gas or other amenities. The beds were great and my whole family slept well for our whole stay. The outdoor firepit made a night of fun for everyone, and we had a great time. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone! This is a great cabin in the perfect location for hiking, fishing, and relaxing in the forest!

Our stay at Chris’s place was amazing. The house was perfect for our 5 adults with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials and then some. The view from the living room spectacular! Having our morning coffee as we stared out the window was a great way to start our day. Chris’s recommendations were on point and made planning a breeze. As someone who has never been to Yellowstone, I would have never been able to plan the trip as perfectly without his help! I feel like we got a free travel agent with our booking- it was awesome! I never knew Idaho was so beautiful. The rolling hills with the mountainous backdrop was breathtaking. I’m so happy we chose to stay in Island Park or we would have missed out seeing more than just Yellowstone. Mesa Falls was hands down the most picturesque sight we saw out of everywhere we went. Don’t miss it!

The house is only 3 miles off Highway 20. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained log home—very clean and welcoming. Please remember to take off your shoes before entering; there’s a sign on the left as you walk in. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking a beautiful lake. On our first morning, around 6 a.m., we saw three moose in the yard. I was able to photograph a female moose from close range. There are plenty of breakfast items stocked in the fridge and in the cabinets to its right. The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is just 17 miles away—about a 20-minute drive. Right outside the entrance is the town of West Yellowstone, Montana, where we filled our gas tank; fuel prices there were the most affordable in the area. The town also has fast food options and several restaurants—great for grabbing a meal or doing some shopping on the way back to the house. I had a few questions during our stay, and Bruce responded promptly and helpfully. I highly recommend this place.
