Several good restaurants and bars nearby; downtown Y a block away. 12' ceilings, hardwood floors, full kitchen and bathroom, coin laundry down the hall. Heat from radiators. Window AC units in summer. TV in bedroom. (For some reason, the listing says 4 beds; that is incorrect.) The apt. is on the 2nd floor: 26 steps. (No elevator.) Parking in lot across the street. Host lives nearby.

We arrived a bit early and then were delayed leaving and Mara and Doug were so kind to work with us and made our trip to attend our daughter's graduate absolutely perfect. Great place, inside was spotless and smelled great! Katie met us on the front porch and gave us great ideas for dining, which all were in walking distance. She even sent me a color coded diagram on how to work the shower! Stayed here for work and will definitely stay here again!

The apartment had high ceilings, a beautiful bedroom with French doors, a vintage bathtub and New Orleans decor! It was a spacious, comfortable, clean and unique place to stay within walkable distance to everything in Galva. Kevin was such a great and responsive host!
