Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bjørnafjorden

Two colleagues used the place for collaborative work on a writing project and had a great stay.

We were a group of 13 people and had a wonderful time! :) (even saw some Northern Lights!!) Definitely recommend the place:)

Jannike was friendly, helpful and kind. She was very communicative in advance of our stay as well as during the stay and had some brilliant recommendations. At all times she was wanting the best for our stay and was quick to reply and help wherever necessary. We would love to come back and the whole stay was a delight!

A very nice location, we used the boat and kayaks a lot and of course also caught fish. Jan responds very quickly. Everything is present in the house and we have enjoyed it very much with our family.

Great cabin! Big and nice in nice surroundings

Direct location on the water with huge panoramic windows - you can also look at the fjord in bad weather. Bjarne's house is great; plenty of space, equipped with everything you need, a great kitchen, two very cozy armchairs for a relaxed view of the water and above all the hot tub as a real highlight! The quiet here was to be expected, as it is located a bit outside in a peaceful holiday home settlement. Beautiful hikes through the nature of Norway are possible in the immediate vicinity. Bjarne was a very friendly host. Communication was quick, friendly, and helpful. He immediately solved a problem with the gas grill and repaired it. We felt comfortable at Bjarne's!

We loved our holiday adventure. Our hosts went out of their way for us, thank you for your local tips, and helpful communication. Their lovely home was clean, spacious, and has everything you need (and more) for a young family, including a great play area outside. Set in the most beautiful location, a perfect base to explore the incredible Norwegian area around Bergen. The mountains, rocks, greenery and water are so magnificent. Visiting Voss, having lunch on the top of the mountain by cable car and white water rafting in the afternoon. Rib ride into the Fjord at Flåm. Cruise to Modalen and trek up 'The Castle'. Helicopter flight over Folgefonna glacier are some of our highlights. Including recommended walks from the house and visiting local Golta. Everything was so incredible. Having such a lovely home to come back to each day, where everything is comfortable, accessible and just perfect, really made this holiday wonderful. We really didn't want to leave. Thank you.

It was a very nice vaccation, the owner is very helpfull and friendly.

Our stay at the cabin was amazing. Everything was according to the description, the cabin has all the things you might need for a comfy stay. We got a map with the trail marked and we easily made it to the cabin. I can really recommend it to anyone who wants to spend some time in peace and quiet, surrounded by nature

We (2 adults, 2 children, one dog) stayed at the property for almost two weeks. We liked the house, especially the terrace and the direct location on the fjord. Christian was very nice and always responded quickly, thank you for that!

We had a great time at Trond’s place. It is a beautiful big house with a nice veranda and a astonishing view. Everything you need is in the house. We definitely enjoyed the motorboat at the lake! And for our son of 4 years it was homecoming with three rooms for kids. We would love to come back!

The house has a good atmosphere. The decor is tasteful and harmonious: an old house with flair. Fantastic view of Ford and mountains in all weather conditions. We were able to walk to the bath, find peppermint, paddle around an island, enjoy various beautiful garden spaces and make worthwhile excursions. Friendly and helpful introduction, Camilla and Truls even went to the boathouse with us and talked excitingly about the house.

Great apartment and perfect place for people with small children!

This is an amazing holiday home in a fantastic location in Hardangerfjord. The house is big with many bedrooms and excellent facilities with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The view from the house is breathtaking, the hot tub great and allt the boats and paddleboards make your days full of fun and exciting adventures. The area is great for action or/and relaxing just as you want. Kjetil is a excellent host, easy to comunicate with and very helpful. I highly recomend this property and I hope that I will have the opportunity revisit it soon.
