Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Black Hills

This stay was incredible. Our family had such a fun time in this beautiful home. It had absolutely everything you would need to make it a great stay for both adults and kids. Our kids did not want to leave! The house was immaculate and in the perfect location. To top it off, the hosts were so wonderful to communicate with. They were super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed! Best experience we have had! Highly recommend this stay to any family!

Ryan’s place is perfect stay with a pet. It’s clean, especially the beddings! It’s close to everything we need.

The house was lovely and perfect for us and our 2 small dogs. The fenced backyard was great and would highly recommend this house for anyone staying in the Spearfish area! It is centrally located to most tourist attractions and we enjoyed them all!

Tai’s home was very comfortable, cozy and clean. Having 3 bedrooms with 3 comfortable queen size beds was just what the doctor ordered after a full day of adventures. My sister’s dog absolutely LOVED the fenced in backyard. I enjoyed time on the adorable front porch relaxing before getting ready for another day of adventures. The house is in a great location for visiting the Black Hills, the Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments and Bear Country USA. Tai was a friendly, informative host and provided everything we needed to know about the house and provided great recommendations for local attractions. Tai contacted us to let us know when the house was ready so we could check in early if we wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This home was conveniently located within a few minute's drive to restaurants, grocery store, and freeway-Great home base for exploring nearby areas. Half a mile from the bike path system. Minimally decorated, it was clean, newly remodeled and lacking nothing for a one week stay. The one negative is something completely outside the host's control, but there's a cement factory about half a mile away that produces a "hum". Imperceptible during the day, but was apparent at night. A brown noise YouTube video finally helped drown it out, but if you are a light sleeper it may be an issue.

Joe’s place was great for access to the Black Hills. We were about 30 minutes to Mt Rushmore. The space was clean and looked like the pictures. Added bonus was the baby gate for the stairs. Useful for our pets! But to those traveling with young children there was a high chair and pack & play available too.

Large, flat, fenced backyard perfect for dogs! Close to a park with great walking paths. We took a family vacation with our dogs, our adult daughter, her spouse, and their son (our grandson) and this place was perfect! We all had plenty of room, and the full kitchen was perfect for family meals. Being near hwy 16 was perfect for all the sight-seeing and fun kid activities. Would definitely recommend if you are taking a trip to the Black Hills.

Had a wonderful stay! Home was located within easy distance of Custer State park, Mt Rushmore and more. Home was clean,well stocked with towels etc and comfortable beds.

This was an amazing place! Beautiful location in the Black Hills! We were just a few minutes away from dining and entertainment. The view from the cabin and deck is breathtaking!

We had a great stay! Amanda always responds quickly and even allowed my family who were arriving much earlier than us to have access a couple of hours before check in time. The house is cozy and in a quiet neighborhood close to pretty much everything. We would definitely stay there again especially when the pool is available to swim in.

Amazing place! It’s right off the highway so easy to get to and such a gorgeous house. The beds were super comfy also! Perfect house to hangout at. The only downfall with being pet friendly is there is so much mud around the house. And the rocks are hard for a dog to walk on. But still recommend and will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed or stay at Sarah's Airbnb. Everything you need is within walking distance, which was quite enjoyable. Although, it is on the edge of downtown, we had no issue with road noise, which was nice relative to the location. There is a grocery store across the street, so it was easy to walk over and buy food to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. The Pizza Mill restaurant was also across the street and there pizzas were outstanding. I would highly recommend this impendent and locally owned business. We also walked a block to breakfast one morning and ate at the Our Place restaurant. This locally owned breakfast diner was also a gem and had a wonderful hometown atmosphere. Further down the main street were several other shops and places to eat. The only negative issue with Sarah's pace was the narrow, steep, and winding stairwell to the second floor. None of our group over 50 felt comfortable staying upstairs. All and all a good stay.

This was a great place to stop and stay on our way to Yellowstone. We stayed here a couple nights. We were close to many of the places we wanted to go in Black Hills. It was a very neat and clean space. Bathrooms were also clean and comfortable!

We loved our stay in the stargazer cabin! It was such a beautiful property, clean, and peaceful. Mackenzie’s recommendations for activities and restaurants were great! The heated mattress pad was perfect for our September stay! We would definitely stay here again 😊

Great place! Lovely new modern house in a super convenient location, great main bath, fantastic deck. Very reponsive host. The surprise was all the critters! There is a rafter of Turkey that roost in the valley behind the house, you will see them go back and forth right in front of the house a couple times a day. There were also two young bucks and a couple rabbits that stopped by and let us take lots of great pics. If traveling with Children, don't miss Evans Plunge, I went there as a small child and still have fond memories. if not traveling with Children, do yourself a big favor and book a soak pass at Moccasin Springs. It is basically in the neighborhood. It is only $30 for a two hours mineral soak with pools at various temps. We went twice, and I would put both days up there as the best spent days of my life.

Just beautiful. What a magical spot in the middle of the woods. Saw countless deer, marmots, and turkeys. Enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds, and wood burning stove. Hit up the Pizza Lab & Jake’s while we were in town and Lynn’s Dakotamart has everything you would need. Thanks for sharing your dreamy space with us!

I don’t even know where to start. Peyton & Logan’s place is just perfect. It’s definitely off the beaten path, so be prepared for that, but once you step inside it’s evident that attention to detail is Peyton’s specialty. The home is modern, free of clutter & contains everything you need. The surrounding pastures are tranquil & peaceful to sit on the patio for morning coffee & watch all the rabbits & nearby cattle. The appliances are top notch & plenty of kitchen items to use. We experienced a thunderstorm while there with a short power outage while we were in Custer Stare Park & Peyton had already contacted the power company. She was quickly responsive to any & all questions. If you are lucky enough to find an opening in the calendar, book it! You will not be disappointed! We will definitely return if ever in the area. Now I just need Peyton to come to my house & redecorate it 😄

The place was excellent. It was quiet and far enough away that it felt like we were in the woods but close enough to deadwood you could be at a restaurant in 15 minutes. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxed and private stay!

We went there for a last vacation with my Mom as her memory is slipping fast. She couldn’t stop saying how much she loved the cabin! It was her favorite part of every around there! It’s centrally located to so much to do. Absolutely beautiful and the 1st time my son put his line in the water, he caught a fish! We took advantage of the amazing amenities! The Sauna was such a great touch with a view of the needle spires. I would love to come back again! You won’t be disappointed. Also, Trystin is a great host! Very responsive and I felt Totally at home.

We had an amazing stay at Eagles Landing Lodge in Custer, SD! The lodge was spotless, beautiful surroundings, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. It’s in a peaceful, private location, yet just a short drive to nature filled activities like Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, and local shops and restaurants. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making sure we felt welcome and had all the info we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for exploring the Black Hills. Highly recommend!
