Backpacker ecofriendly environment. Awesome views of El Yunque. 2 Minutes to rainforest and only 10 minutes to the local beaches and town of Luquillo. We are 45 minutes to the ferries that will take you to Culebra and Vieques. Private property with chickens, 2 cats and a dog named Cayo. Our personal home is on the property. We are close by for any assistance. We have lots of fruits & vegetables (passion fruit, bananas, pineapple, mangos..). We are striving to be as low impact as possible.

Ivan is a 100/10 host. I appreciate the hospitality Ivan and the communication. All the recommendations I truly do. You were very kind Thank you. I checked out some spots I never would have known about and was able to have an overall amazing experience in Puerto Rico. If you want to go out partying at night maybe consider elsewhere since transport stops around 10pm. But if you want chill relaxing family friendly or solo vibes. This is the place for you.

This was by far one of our favorite stays we’ve ever done in our lives, and we’ve both visited 50+ countries — the Airbnb was perfect, so beautiful and pristine—you’re totally in nature without feeling like you’re roughing it at all. Robert has paid attention to every detail and stocked the home with everything you could think of ahead of your arrival, from sunscreen and bug spray and beach chairs to waters in the freezer to take to the playa. We can’t wait to come back asap — would come stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Robert, you made our honeymoon so beautiful!!!

Kathy was by far the most helpful host I’ve ever had in the past 5 years I’ve been using Air BNB. Any question I had she was able to answer in a timely manner and gave great recommendations on places to go and ways around the island. Would 100% recommend the stay is solo or with a significant other and looking for a comfortable accommodation. Thank you Kathy! Hope to see you again!

I’m not much for typing reviews but this is absolutely the best spot in Esperanza. So beautiful the views in all directions from the balcony. Sunrise to sunset just amazing-mountains and ocean everywhere. The balcony is perfect for sunbathing and eating and even workouts. The inside is perfectly minimal with everything you need in a place. We walked to the Malecon multiple times. We drove all over the island and sought as many beaches as we possibly could. The bed is comfy. The couch is perfect for some lazy tv after long days of exploring. A/C is perfect in both rooms. Windows with great views are in every room. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s the best spot we’ve ever stayed in. Also washer and dryer. We watched iguanas and crabs and horses all from our balcony.
