Family-friendly holiday rentals in Black Warrior River

An amazing place! Beautiful house and a wonderful host. I hope to stay there again before my daughter graduates Bama.

The B&B could not be in a better location so that you're not crowded with just not even a 5 minute walk to the strip! Kim and her husband were extremely nice host's, and I would definitely stay with them again!

Kim was welcoming, friendly and kind. Enjoyed the southern hospitality. Good location.

This was the perfect spot to say if you are going to a Bama game! We loved bringing able to walk to the stadium out and to the strip. We are animal lovers so the cats were definitely a plus for us. Thank you for your hospitality!

Lots of places for folks to sleep, we used main living room to watch tv. Not sure what the outdoor area is in pictures and if we are allowed to use. Seems like a couple other rentals also have access. Little confusing, but it was so hot outside, we never wanted to use. Pictures show nice outdoor area.

Coming from the Pacific NW, but having grown up on the West Coast and Midwest, respectively, my wife and I only knew the history of the South from what we learned in High School. We specifically came to Selma to understand the history, and walk the bridge. Now more than ever it is important to learn from and about our history. This place is located just blocks from the bridge and interpretative center, as well as the churches where the marches were organized. This 2nd floor unit, accessible by stairs only, is quaint and worked perfectly for us. The only negative was our unit, only had a skylight for natural daylight. Without windows, there is no secondary egress, and that concerned me, but the building does have a wet fire protection system, so that helped alleviate this concern. We would recommend this place for those seeking an historical tour of Selma.

Great place to stay in Birmingham! Good location, and very nice host!

I was raised in Selma. It is a beautiful place with amazing potential. Staying in The Lofts brought back memories of going to the second floor on the Woolworth’s and getting popcorn. One of the few stores with two floors. Loved the Loft because the decor was reminiscent of Selma’s past but also unique in the arts vibe. We will stay again.

Even though it was an older property, it felt like coming to grandmas house. It was comfortable with plenty of amenities and we absolutely loved drinking coffee on the wonderful porch every morning.

This was our third time staying at Mark's place and it was great as always. It's an older home but well-maintained and clean. The location is convenient and on a nice quiet street.

Riley’s place was very nice. He was very friendly and always available if we needed anything. The cabin was closer to their home than I expected, but it wasn’t a problem. Riley greets you at check-in and gave us poles and worms to fish. Nice weekend getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Liz was incredibly friendly and welcoming- super easy to communicate with and always happy to help. One of our favorite parts? The chickens! Fun to watch them roam around. They gave the whole place a country charm. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay! Love that it is well-equipped with anything we needed . We loved the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to Oak Mountain State Park, which is a beautiful place to bike & hike. Wendy is so kind and readily available for answering any questions we had. This is the cleanest place Ive ever stayed at away from home!! it's cute and comfy as well. Will stay again next time Im in Birmingham.

Perfect Stay. Loved the Sunroof views. We were able to cook and enjoy a couple of meals inside. The atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the Loft stay so much we are planning to visit again.
