Amazing stay here with my husband. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and everything was as described in the listing. Joy is a brilliant host checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly! Would definitely stay again!!

Had a lovely couple of days at Hlolly Barn. It’s a beautiful property in a gorgeous spot. The weather was fantastic which made everything even better. It’s really very easy to explore some superb walks and trails across the common and downs. Brockhampton Estate is well worth a visit too. Sarah is very friendly and it’s great to know she is next door without being intrusive. Loved it!

Beautiful location perfectly clean and comfortable . Slight disturbance due to busy road noise but other than that the perfect place to stay.

Peaceful and beautiful rural setting … no out door space to sit. Great to have the use of a hot tub with a lovely view … overall a lovely place to stay

Incredible place! We had a lovely couple of nights here. The house is full of character and has everything you need and the enclosed garden was great for our young daughter and dogs. Very peaceful location so sitting in the hot tub in the evenings was very relaxing. The added bonus of access to the river at the bottom of the garden was great! Will checked us in and gave us some suggestions of local walks and things to do which was ideal. Would highly recommend!!

My family attended a wedding at Clearwell Castle, and Lindsey's home was perfectly situated for us, as the venue was just an easy 10-minute drive away. We enjoyed a couple of wonderful nights' sleep, thanks to the quiet surroundings of the cottage. We will definitely stay again to explore the Forest of Dean.

We loved our stay at Helen's place, the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Lots of walks right out the door and lovely views from the house. The house had everything we needed and was really well set up for our long weekend away. We would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage for a weekend. Fern was very helpful and welcoming. The cottage was beautifully decorated and lots of character which we love. It had everything we needed! Bathroom was clean, the bed was very comfy and the little courtyard garden was lovely to sit and have breakfast in the sunshine. Very welcoming of dogs. Lots of local walks and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be returning to stay here in the future.

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage has everything needed for travellers, including dishwasher and washing machine. Llandogo is a quiet village in easy reach of all attractions of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Anchor Inn at Tintern Abbey is a great pub with excellent food only 5 mins drive away.

A beautiful hidden gem in the Cotswolds countryside! You can get more peaceful and relaxing than this! A lovely cake on arrival, clean fresh bedding and towels. Everything you need in the kitchen. A lovely little courtyard and dog friendly. We had an amazing 2 night stay for my birthday. Finding the games, Scrabble and connect four gave us a few giggles. Lovely walks around the area... I highly recommend this beautiful converted barn / mill house. It has everything you need from toiletries to blankets and fans if it's hot to logs if it's cold. Graig Ddu is a very special place. The house has a timeless quality to it, so much more than a typical holiday rental. The location is so beautiful, it is surrounded by the garden and trees up a lovely forest track (but still safely driveable) We enjoyed the walk along the valley to Llanthony Priory but also just spent time in the garden. We were there during the unusually hot weather and the house was a cool, calm escape. Really enjoyed the books and Positive News magazines, a much needed antidote to current affairs! We loved our family stay here - 6 adults and 4 dogs were all comfortably accommodated. Very dog friendly. Great location right by the River and beautiful walks from the doorstep. We walked to the Kymin (steep to begin with, but fantastic views), along the riverside and visited Symonds Yat on our last day. The cottage is deceptively large and beautifully decorated with a lovely garden (terraced) to relax in. The hosts were very helpful and responsive when booking. 2 local pubs and the lovely town of Monmouth less than a 10 minute drive away. Would not hesitate to recommend!

The perfect little hideaway for a few days. If it’s character you’re looking for you can’t go wrong with Covey Cottage! Perfectly peaceful and secluded and lovely, friendly hosts. I’d definitely recommend.

We had a great time in this cottage as a couple with our dog. Beautiful walks straight from the front door. Comfortable living area. It was so nice to have essentials and more in the kitchen, for example, oil, herbs etc… a luxury compared to a lot of places I have stayed. Thoughtful dog items. Bedding comfortable and clean. Great parking and close to the cottage.

We loved our stay at Edith’s Cottage- everything was so spotless and so thoughtfully prepared and of excellent quality. Ann was a superb host with clear and prompt communication, great recommendations plus left a delicious lemon cake and birthday candles as one of our group had a birthday! Would definitely go back!!!

Had the perfect get a way and much needed peace and relaxation. This was absolutely perfect!! Beautiful surroundings, Andrew and Sarah were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed and it was super clean. The little added extras were so sweet, especially catering to my allergies. Overall will definitely come back!

Perry Pear Cottage has for us been such a restful and peaceful retreat. Nestled off the beaten track in a rural setting in the heart of The Forest Dean, it was lovely to be serenaded with nature's music of bird song and lowing cattle in the fore. Conveniently situated for so many attractions and beauty spots, this charming little place ticked all the boxes. What better way to ease your troubles and woes. A very enjoyable stay at The Barns. Both of the hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and very happy to help with any problems we had. The place was beautiful, very clean and comfy. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit and we would love to visit again in the future :)
