Cabin holiday rentals in Blanco County

What a beautiful place for a getaway! It’s very peaceful and the cabins are so cozy. There were thunderstorms the night we stayed at the cabin and we actually enjoyed watching the lightning from the big window. We also saw deer walk by and our dogs loved watching them from the cabin. Big thank you for clear instructions from the host and for being pet-friendly!

We had such an amazing time! We fell in love with this cabin! We loved our time so much we stood an extra night! Debbie was very responsive to our messages. I love how private this place is. We had such a relaxing time! We can’t wait to come back!

We loved staying at this loft! It had a lovely view of the hill country and it is all shiny and new. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were nice with plenty of towels. My boys were obsessed with the pool/hot tub, little store and game room. We all played shuffleboard and ping pong for hours. It was a great getaway–close enough to stores and restaurants but secluded. I would definitely come back!

A lovely home nestled in a natural setting with thoughtful touches to wonderful amenities. Highly recommended if you’re looking to get away and reconnect with nature and loved ones.

My husband's and I could not be more happy with where we stayed! It was absolutely gorgeous, perfect for the 2 of us, and we loved the hot tub. It was so peaceful and quiet at night and I slept like a baby. Next time we are back in town we will definitely stay here!

We stayed at the blanco cabin and it was a great weekend getaway. The cabin was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. The hot tub on the deck was really nice and already heated when we arrived. It was a peaceful retreat in nature but still close enough to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay again!

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

Had a great stay, very peaceful. Unfortunately, with the Blanco river being dry at the cabin and very low in Wimberley, there wasn't much to do while we were there with the heat. Cristina was very helpful and responsive to our questions and needs. She went above and beyond to provide us with options and alternatives to help us enjoy our stay.

A very nice little spot in nature! Great views and easy access to Johnson City. The cabin is small (I wouldn’t recommend it for groups larger than 2) but was well furnished and had a pleasantly surprising number of amenities packed in. We didn’t find ourselves in need of anything that wasn’t provided. The hot water was a little limited, but it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. The property itself is also beautiful with the aforementioned views, wide open space away from a lot of light for great stargazing, and a number of little places to explore on property like the hammock tree. Host was communicative and check in/check out was easy. Recommended!

Had an amazing stay at salty dog ranch the animals are amazing to wake up to every morning we had tears of joy driving away with them in the rear view mirror. The cabin was just perfect and they have everything you’d ever need to cook and never even have to leave your entire stay. You can tell they take pride in their guest stay and the Airbnb itself. You’re about 20 minutes away in any given direction to Johnson city for wineries ect or to Krause springs to cool off. Untamed winery was a huge hit and their pizzas are amazing. Along with bluebonnet cafe being our favorite Restaraunt during the stay amazing home made pies/ home style cookin.

Clean home and solid construction off the beaten path provided a wonderful night‘s rest. Early morning rise followed with tranquil outside seat and first cup of coffee followed by a second. Every box checked for a weary traveler seeking to refresh and replenish a dwindling reserve. Old books and vast views exist side-by-side and up-close with hill country nature and healing.

We had an absolutely delightful experience! Our host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Communication was seamless, which made everything even more enjoyable. The tranquility of the place had us feeling right at home, even though we were miles away. The unit was spotless and well-maintained, truly adding to our comfort. We can’t recommend this spot highly enough!

If you enjoy peace and quiet this is the place ! I could sit on the porch and watch the humming birds for hours. The property is beautiful and Brigitte & Shawn are wonderful host. We will definitely be coming back to visit.

Great secluded stay at the ranch. Wifi was spotty, but that was noted before we signed up. Otherwise, the place was clean, nice, comfortable, and cozy. Highly recommend!

If you're looking to get away from crowds and have space to yourself, this is the place! Keep in mind that this location is NOT intended to be a luxury stay...it is rugged and set up similar to a hunting lodge. At the time of our stay, there were 2 sets of bunk beds, so for couples, there is either going to be a crowded bed, or you'll have to sleep separate. This wasn't an issue for us, as we knew what we were getting into to begin with, but something others should keep in mind when booking this location. It is comfortable, and on a ranch with lots of land, so staying here allows for exploration. For us, we'll definitely stay here again. Carl was super nice, and was more than willing to accommodate wherever necessary. We made a new friend by staying here!

Our family of 5 stayed at Par's cabin over a long weekend. Check-in/out: very easy, clear instructions Responsiveness: very responsive and kind. Par even took the initiative to store extra blankets as we were expecting a cold weekend. Cabin: very clean with easy to use appliances. Beds, linens, bathrooms, and furniture were all clean and spotless. Outdoors: private cabin, very quiet and peaceful. Our children loved the playground set, hammock, and zipline! We enjoyed the firepit and charcoal grill as well. Location: just a 10-15 minute drive to Canyon Lake and numerous hiking trails, 35 minutes to Natural Bridge Caverns. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and we highly recommend Par's cabin. We would definitely stay again.

Linda was an amazing host. She answered all our questions immediately and was always accommodating if we needed anything. The home was an incredible place to stay. Where else can you walk out onto the porch with your morning coffee, and watch Texas Longhorns? We saw foxes, deer, and lot of birds. If you love nature, and being someplace peaceful, you need to do yourself a favor, and book this place! Oh, and in case you are wondering, the internet is great. I work remotely and had no issues with working, or streaming entertainment. I spent most my time outside during my workday, looking at all the wildlife, while my colleagues were surrounded by 4 walls, and very jealous :)

This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint! JD and Tatiana are always so welcoming and some of the best host. Perfect spot for a couples getaway with privacy but still close enough to get into town. Great kitchen where we were able to make breakfast every morning and sit and enjoy on the porch. Bed is super comfortable to get a great night of sleep. My husband and I have made the decision to have an annual trip to this house once a year because it truly is our favorite and always such an amazing experience ❤️

Our family loved our stay at Rachel and Matt’s river house! We brought our four kids with us — ages 12, 10, 2, and almost 1 — and all of them loved it! The house is very baby and toddler friendly (they had a travel crib for the baby and a small futon for our toddler to sleep on, as well as games and books for little ones). Our older kids loved fishing and swimming in the river and playing board games! The house was extremely clean, and the kitchen was well-outfitted so we had no trouble cooking on the nights we didn’t go out. A great experience!

Third time to stay at Melissa’s and we will keep coming back. Great location to our favorite wineries. Melissa even gifted us a bottle of fabulous red wine for being returning guests. Highly recommend this place!
