Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Blue Bay

Sheila was an exceptional host, friendly, always responsive to calls/texts and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (especially with her family for airport runs and car rental!!) Our lengthy stay was a home from home! We couldn’t thank her enough 🙏🏽 The place is a nice, big spacious apartment in the heart of rural Mauritius, small local shops close by - be prepared for some bugs in the evening, but friendly (and shy!) geckos, who actually help eat the bugs! Belle Mare beach (one of the best on the island) only 10 minutes away by car. La Riviere restaurant was also recommended by Shelia and is must to eat at, no need to make a reservation, you can just turn up! On our last day we also visited an island called Ile Aux Cerf which was a short drive and then boat ride away! Shelia also provided us with basic essentials: water, juice, sugar, cutlery, cleaning products and household basics. On top of all that she also provided a very useful welcome guide. Overall 10/

The small cottage of Jf and Kareen more than convinced us with its very own charm, a great layout and its optimal location. It was clean, tidy and lovingly furnished. The hosts didn't promise too much, were themselves very friendly, courteous and always available for questions. Would recommend this place with a clear conscience at any time 😊

I really like this house. I feel sooo chill and happiness there. Marvin and Marlene will help u all the time. They give me the sweet suggestions for Mauritius. And rent a scooter for me. We agreed to meet again, cuz they r so nice🥰

We had a most pleasant stay. Ramesh and Do were always available to help & went out of their way to help specially when my husband needed help getting a chair to use at the beach. Linen & towels were changed regularly & we had access to all the necessary amenities. The sunsets were spectacular, garden is well maintained & had the most beautiful flowers. Ramesh even helped with arranging for a catamaran cruise. I will definitely use them again, should I go back to Mauritius.

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

The Place was amazing, it was clean and beautiful just like the pictures. We enjoyed our time there and liked the privacy we had there. Also our host Julie was great, she gave us recommendation for restaurants in the area,also she was very helpful and responsive for our check in and during our stay.

We cant recommended this place enough, it was perfect for the 3 of us. The place was super clean and well maintained. Barendar is a great host. Everything from the linen to the toiletries were all stocked up. She even had a small medical kit, which in our case was super helpful since my son had a minor cut while snorkelling . If you’re a small family and looking for a place to stay this would be perfect. A peaceful neighbourhood and very conveniently located.

Even before arriving in Mauritius, Caroline was very available. We immediately felt his kindness, his gentleness to our children and his hospitality. A pleasure to have had the opportunity to discover his accommodation as well as his cooking skills since we were able to taste a local dish made by him. Everything is planned for a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place. A BIG thank you again!! We do not plan to return to Mauritius in the months/years that arrive however we keep the address precious, we never know!!

5/5 stars! We had an unforgettable experience at this fantastic Airbnb apartment in La Gaulette, Mauritius! The apartment was clean, modern and comfortably furnished. The view of the mountain and the sea from the huge roof terrace was stunning. The location was perfect for us to explore the entire south of the island. Dhareena was very hospitable and helped us with all questions. Her parents welcomed us and they were incredibly friendly. Due to the delay of our flight and problems with the rental car, we arrived at the apartment much later than agreed, which was also no problem and due to the good communication with Dhareena everything worked out perfectly. We can only recommend this apartment!

A unforgettable stay! The sea view is simply magical. The accommodation is perfectly equipped and very well located. The private pool is a real plus. A huge thank you to Anne and Dominique for their wonderful welcome. These are hosts with exceptional kindness. It immediately feels like a home away from home. We leave with memories in our heads. We recommend this accommodation without hesitation, and for sure, we will be back!!

One of my favourite Airbnb stays. Loved staying in the local village. Eric was so friendly and the accommodation had everything we could need. We could walk to restaurants and the supermarket and it was a short drive to beaches and places of interest.

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights at the Dilmed residence. Pleasantly surprised by the walking distance to the center of Flic en Flac and the shops around. The photos of the listing are identical to reality and the apartment is ideal for a couple. The essentials are present in the accommodation and a small + a plate of fruit and juice are offered upon arrival. Martine and Sabrina are easily accessible and on site every day if needed. Housekeeping is done 1/2 times a week, and sheets and towels are also changed. The host Ziaad is also available by phone, I recommend +++ and I assure you that for the location the price is relatively affordable. If needed, a taxi from the airport to the residence and back. Feel free to ask Ziaad, he will advise you and book it for you at an affordable price, much cheaper than taxis to the airport. You can say it's actually a vacation. Thank you

The place was absolutely amazing. Very peaceful, private and safe. The place is filled with charm from the moment you enter. Accross the beautiful open plan kitchen, a full lounge bay window catches your gaze, with breathtaking views of the lagoon overlooking Île aux Aigrettes in the distance and a sneak of Pointe d'Esny arround the corner(Bluebay not too far) . Well appointed bedrooms with main bedroom view just as stunning...surreal to wake up to. The Waterfront is 5mins walking distance away, 1min by car. The main street is in close proximity and within comfortable walking distance. We walked until late most evenings and the only the thing we ran into was.... kindness, peace and tranquility. If you need supplies, Londonways and Bo'Valon Mall are about 5mins drive away. The property is just perfectly located , exceeds expectations and is perfect for a family. Vic, the guy that maintains the place daily, is also great... Will miss our morning chats!! 10 Stars Pascal! ❤️👌

Beautiful apartment,true to the photos, and very spacious. Anahita's pool and restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away. As well as the transfer boat to the beach at the deer island. Ravi was a very good host, very responsive, he organized our transfer back and forth to the airport and made me a rental car available that was already there, very convenient. It's a very good value for money, I won't hesitate to come back.

The place beautifully blends simplicity and authenticity — just the way we like it. We’re big fans of nature lodges, and Loukaz truly felt like home. What made it even more special was the studio next door. As we were having dinner, we could hear a band working on a song — such a unique and magical experience! We really enjoyed how this airbnb wasn't in a tourist area. Beautiful views and great facilities. We felt having a car rental was useful, shopping center 5 mins away as well as lots of day trips. Also using the free kayaks and making the most of a home cooked meal from Ganesh on the last night was a treat. Daily room turn down was a plus also.

Thank you for the lovely stay Sheel! We felt at home and appreciated the attention towards details found throughout your apartment. The kitchen was well equipped for our extended stay. The building was well maintained, had friendly staff and felt very safe with the security team. Having a pool was a wonderful bonus after an excursion day! We’ll miss our daily breakfast on the balcony enjoying the views! We recommend this great stay :)

Jayson and the Key Island team were phenomenal! We had an incredible stay from start to finish. After 25 hours of travel, being granted early check-in was a huge relief and truly appreciated. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and fully equipped with everything our family needed to feel right at home. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. We’d absolutely stay here again!

The accommodation exceeded our (high) expectations. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable from the beginning. The apartment is super modern, spotlessly clean and has a breathtaking view of the lagoon. I loved drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning and looking out at the sea. The amenities are great. The washing machine is very convenient. Our kids loved the lower pool. There you have a great view of the green hillside. You can enjoy the sunset on the roof terrace with pool. It is so nice and quiet and everyone (residents/employees) is very nice. Supermarket within walking distance. In general, however, I would recommend a car. Great location to explore the south in particular. The place was absolutely perfect for us! Roumila answered every question very quickly and is very nice.

Ashvin welcomed us perfectly to his home at La Gaulette. We had a good chat with him, he was very good advice for restaurants and activities in the area. Her place is impeccable, with all the necessary amenities, and impeccably clean! The view of Le Morne and the surrounding greenery is really a plus. I recommend it 100%, thank you Ashvin! Marine

Such a nice place and right by the dock where you can book activities like 5 islands tour. People managing the place just downstairs were really lovely and helpful too, a couple of tiny issues were fixed really quickly and everyone was very responsive - would really recommend staying here!

Océane is an excellent host, she was super responsive and provided us with great local recommendations. The studio is as described in a beautiful small garden.
