The place was fantastic. The host was even more fantastic. I would go there just to visit with Erik again. Such a cozy place!!

This place is absolutely adorable! It had everything you would need! The jacuzzi tub was fantastic with the fire place to relax. I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this is definitely one of the best! We would've stayed longer if there was availability. Ironically, I booked a place in White Springs for a few days later and it, too, is Abby and Steve's. We are so looking forward to another great stay. Can't wait! Great hosts and a terrific place. Highly recommend this place!

I can't say enough good things about this place!!! The location was perfect for visiting all the springs and it was quiet and private. Saw dear and wild turkeys in the yard and neighborhood. The kitchen had many extras and the pool and downstairs kitchen were fantastic! Great memories were made! Thank you for sharing your space!

A beautiful house right on the river. Excellent accommodations with every detail thought of. Great communication with our host. We would definitely stay here again. The local dining is delicious. Perfect for our larger family of 10.

Eric was very communicative and a very gracious host. The cabin was cozy and clean and the surroundings were so peaceful, exactly what we needed. We spent a good majority of our time in the swim spa that seemed to melt away the stress of every day life. We got steaks from Mobley's, absolutely delicious. Very satisfied and a wonderful anniversary getaway

My Father-in-law was looking for a pace to ride out the hurricane in Florida. Eric did a great job of being a host as well as a friend. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this house during a baseball tournament. It was conveniently located to the ballpark, and we loved going down to the river after a long day at the fields.

This is my second time staying with Niladri within the last year. It was as beautiful, clean, and comfortable as before. We last came in the fall previously and it was chilly, this time warmer and we had to utilize the AC units to sleep at night - kept us plenty cool and comfortable at nights We enjoyed cooking over the campfires, love the outdoor shower, and got to wear our pups out. We visited some new to us local springs and enjoy how close it is to access them but also enjoy the privacy of this place. We rented all three studio cabins for a birthday celebration and it was fun to have the whole area to ourselves this visit. She is a responsive, friendly and communicative host. We look forward to visiting again, thank you for another wonderful weekend!

Our stay was amazing! Very tranquil and peaceful setting. We were made aware that recent storms had damaged some of the land, and surrounding sight seeing areas. House was comfy, felt like home. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to nature, seeing fireflies, and star gazing. We will definitely go back!!

I loved the space and location, only about 40 min from home in case of an emergency. It’s private and there is a lot of room in those cabins. Please do not rate based on bugs…you’re in the middle of the woods so it’s unavoidable. You are given a broom and dustpan to keep the area tidy (Pro Tip: Use the broom to brush the bugs outside of the door before entering). The refrigerator was a nice mini size to store food and drinks. The A/C unit keeps the room nice and cool. I didn’t use the outhouse…personal reasons, but it is there and the toilet works. The shower was really nice. I only figured out how to use the handle which is fine. Be conservative, so shower and wash in between to save water. The internet was’t so strong, but I didn’t care. The television is nice, but you will spend more time outside of the room. This is a great place to relax. I am saving this location for the future because it’s a nice getaway and the amenities are standard with a few upgrades for cabin living.

We wanted a quiet weekend getaway for the family and this house was perfect! Beds were comfortable, house was spacious and the setting was serene. We would definitely go back!

Clean house. Close to rivers. Well located. We recommend it for those who want to spend a pleasant time with family or friends.

The Sugar Shack was the perfect place to escape from our hectic south Florida lifestyle! It was remote but close to small towns and our beautiful Florida Springs. It was so peaceful to be in the woods and relax on the Suwannee River in the big chairs provided!! The big oak trees all around are magnificent and the cabin is cozy and dreamy and has everything we needed for cooking out on the grill and sipping our morning coffee by the lazy river!! Perfect!

This was our second stay and we love everything about this spot! It’s a beautiful piece of property with everything you need to sit back and enjoy a weekend away. The host is always incredibly helpful and kind whenever we have had to communicate with them with questions or recommendations. If you’re looking for a place to escape too then you will not be disappointed with this spot! We will certainly be back again as soon as we can!

We all enjoyed our stay at John's private retreat! A fully stocked spice cabinet great for cooking meals, spacious sleeping arrangements, and an all-around excellent homestead! We all enjoyed telling stories around the campfire, walking down to the river, and all the bits and bobs that John particularly placed throughout! Can't wait to see this beautiful location again sometime in the near future!

The house and property was beautiful. There was plenty of space for all of us (7 adults and 2 kids). There were lots of kayaks and tubes at our disposal for the river. I would definitely stay here again!

Or stay there on the Suwanee River was nothing but relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed our time on the hammock and the views from the outdoor area looking down at the river. We ventured out and went to Suwanee Springs and checked out some of the local hotspots in the area. We’re about 35 minutes from the Georgia border, so we ventured up there for a little bear as well for some souvenirs for the kids came back. Had a wonderful dinner a nice movie and no kids yell yelling lol

We were in Gainesville for our daughters UF graduation and rates are notoriously high in Gainesville for graduation weekend. We decided to look a little bit off the beaten path and also wanted a place that our other daughter and her husband could stay with us and have their own bedroom and bathroom. Liz’s lovely house perfectly fit the bill. Not only are the surroundings so peaceful that we just wanted to spend as much time as possible looking out at the water and trees, but the house was perfectly clean, much more modern than I anticipated, and was very comfortable for sleeping. We also loved watching Liz’s dogs play in their yard next door. The drive in to Gainesville was very easy. We would not hesitate to book Liz’s house again.

Very peaceful and quite. Directions were perfect and the house was very easy to find. The bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be staying again soon.

Beautiful little pocket of woods, with good proximity to city. The cabin was cozy and the amenities provided were helpful. Mark is friendly and responsive - when we had an issue with the electricity, he came by the same morning to re-do the wiring and solved it. I would stay here again.

This was an amazing vacation with so many memories made. Before the vacation even started Elizabeth was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. Once we arrived we knew we booked the right place. The property was so beautiful and the cabin was super clean and cozy. The cabin had everything needed to feel right at home. We were able to visit near by springs, kayak from the boat ramp with the kayaks provided and play board games from the comfort of the porch. We really appreciated Elizabeth’s attention to detail on making her place a wonderful place to stay. We can’t wait to come back again. 🙂
