We had a beautiful weekend away at Cox’s cottage. It was so quiet and the views, especially at sunset, were unreal. It was a great escape from the city to unwind for a few days! The cottage itself is so charming and Jeremy and Annette were very responsive.

Where to start! We came for the weekend as it was my husbands birthday. Had our two kids with us and we had the best time. The house is private, the surrounds are beautiful, it’s quiet and there are kangaroos and wombats everywhere. The indoor fire, the outdoor fire pit, the outdoor bath, comfy beds and well appointed/stocked kitchen were great. We will definitely return- kids are already asking when we can go back.

We had a gorgeous view and the cottage was very cosy throughout a rainy couple of days. It was the perfect base to use to explore all the Hunter has to offer. We loved it!

Excellent weekend get away for a family. We stayed with our 2.5 year old and 3 months old and had a wonderful, peaceful family get away. Philip was super helpful and made sure we had everything required, especially for the kiddies. Scrumpy offers something for everyone: warm and peaceful nights in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine, as well as perfectly equipped kitchen for cooking; and games, activities and a wonderful garden to run for kids. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return for a winter family get away.

It was lovely to stay on Margot’s farm, we also got to feed the sheep which was an absolute bonus! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a private stay close to everyone to explore in the Southern Highlands.

The perfect long weekend getaway with my three girl friends. It was very spacious, felt like home and the main bedroom had the most comfiest bed I’ve slept in! I do recommend this place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of Sydney

Bec’s place was a gorgeous spot to completely switch off, reflect and recharge on a working farm. The house was well equipped to enjoy our time outdoors and take refuge from the winter cold indoors. The perfect place to take it comfortably back to basics and reset!

Gorgeous property with ample room and beds to cater to our group. Hosts were always on hand for any additional questions. Property had a gorgeous fireplace which was just lovely to cosy around in the evening with a glass of wine. Looking forward to staying again!

Tim’s place is peaceful and tidy. We loved the fire place, it was so warm and cozy although the temperatures outside were around zero. Tim is easy to communicate with and a great host! Thank you for making our stay in Blue Mountains unforgettable 😊

Really beautiful farm with plenty friendly animals! Been to many farm stays with our dogs & this is definitely the best one we’ve been too, super friendly host and so much to do on the farm! Home is very clean and tidy, host offered so much food and drink, not stingy on toilet paper and bin bags which is rare with some farm stays! We really enjoyed our stay, we will definitely be back and would recommend it to our friends for sure!

We stayed 2 nights with our baby and dog. We wanted somewhere private but close to town, quiet, peaceful and easy to get to. We got that and so much more. Claudine was responsive, kind and friendly with lots of local recommendations. The accomodation was so clean, beautifully styled and felt like home. The property was amazing. The kitchen has enough to make meals at home which with a baby made life easy and homely. Also the bed - sooo comfortable & clean & warm. We have a golden retriever who isn’t great off leash so to let him run and do zoomies in a safe space was amazing. He also loved making friends with the ponies. The little touches like the pet basket & wine & cheese was such a special little touch especially after travelling. We cannot wait to return. It’s a beautiful spot we will definitely come back to & recommend to our friends. We cannot recommend this spot enough, it’s a perfect spot if you’re visiting Mudgee. Chontelle and Tim are wonderful hosts. On a freezing cold night they had a fire lit, ensuring the lovely cottage was so cosy on my late arrival. It was a delight to stay with them. I was only regretful that my schedule meant I could only stay one night in this restful haven.

Stephanie was a great help getting inside as the second gate can be missed. But lovely cosy home perfect for winter getaway and exploring the area. Feeding the horses and ponies was a highlight and sitting outside by the fire pit looking at the stars was magical

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, property was in immaculate condition. Kitchen was stocked better than any place I have stayed before with just about everything you could need - don't even have to wash your own dishes if you don't want to (just put them in the washing machine). The views from the property were great, amazing birdlife and even Wallabies/Kangaroos in paddock nearby, sensational ! Weather was pretty cold at night so it was awesome that the lounge room had a lovely wood fire 🔥, with plenty of chopped wood stacked around the property. We were at Wollombi for our son's wedding and everything went very well, staying at such a picturesque accomodation became part of amazing memories for this big event in our lives.

We had a lovely 4-day stay at Leigh’s farm. The views over the river and hills were stunning, and the property was peaceful and private — just what we needed. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Leigh was a great host — friendly and helpful throughout. We loved the area and a short drive from Mudgee’s wineries and town. Highly recommend for a relaxing country getaway!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The house and surroundings are even better than the photos suggest. The house was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you would need. The surroundings are peaceful and private with lots of sunshine all day through. Will definitely be returning.

The view was amazing and we had a good time using the fireplace and the firepit. The house was very good but the view was definitely the star of the place. Steven is also easy to contact and very responsive for any issues we have. It has a lots of books and board games to keep the kids entertained especially the trampoline outside.

This is a beautiful property and exactly what we were looking for - it’s close to the nearby towns but still super private and with beautiful views around it. Instructions were super detailed and the place was absolutely lovely - even better than in the listing. We will be back again soon!

Beautiful cosy home in the heart of Leura. We cooked up a storm in the lovely kitchen each night and retired to the beautiful sitting groom by the warm open fire. Mornings were spent having tea and toast in the other gorgeous sitting room looking over delightful coffee table books. We were all super comfortable and warm in this lovely home. A beautiful place for 5 ladies to get away to the mountains. We shopped and shopped at the sweet Leura Mall.
