Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Blue Ridge Mountains

It’s a place to stay to travel back in time a bit. I loved the original structure of the farm house. The surroundings were rural and peaceful. We didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast, we had a tight schedule, but I did get a sneak peek of the setup, which looked well organized and reminded me of a smaller version of “farm to table” experience.

We had a great stay for my husband’s birthday. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and the farm is lovely. I also can’t speak highly enough about the breakfast option. You’ll love it!

The location of Monica’s home was ideal for our needs in the area. The home was lovely and very well appointed. It felt like being ‘home’ while being in someone else’s home. I highly recommend this property to anyone who needs a stay in this area.

This is our second visit to Jim and Lisa’s cabins (last time we were at the smaller one) and once again it was PERFECT! A fabulous place for a peaceful getaway in a gorgeous setting in a cozy, comfortable, sparkling clean and well-appointed cabin. It is the perfect combination of simplicity and luxury. We felt as though we were back in much more simple and graceful times, yet with every possible modern amenity at our fingertips. Cozy loving room, spacious open kitchen, charming bedrooms and best of all a great porch to sip coffee slowly and take in the beauty talk around. Thanks again Jim and Lisa! We will be back!

We absolutely loved our time at Nana’s Place. It felt like home the moment we walked in. Hands down, one of the most comfortable stays we’ve ever had. And the milk and cookies? Total chef’s kiss—just the kind of simple touch that makes a place unforgettable. Thanks for sharing your amazing spot with us. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

This was a cool location with a short walk to Harpers Ferry National Historic Park. Parking was onsite and we had everything we needed. My 20 year old daughter took the loft bed, which is a pretty good climb from the stationary ladder inside….not for someone with mobility issues but she had no problem. We had a great day walking around the Park and the historic sites….lot’s of hills so be forewarned.

We booked same day for a 1 night stay and it was a nice place for what we needed. The fenced dog park area was great for our two dogs. It’s not the fenced in area in the front of the entrance, it’s actually up the hill to the left. We didn’t see the signs at first. It’s pretty large! One of the gates has shifted and small dogs can easily get out so we used a log to block it. Just fyi! We could never get the WiFi to work. They didn’t say which network to join. The host replied once to my question but my follow up question was right after 9pm so they never responded and we. It seems they do not check messages or booking requests unless it’s between the hours of 1pm-9pm. We originally sent our request at 11am and it wasn’t accepted til after 1pm. I understand they have business hours but it made several things tricky. Also we never got any checkout instructions. I do think the price was a bit high. But it was the only place we could find in short notice! We’d stay again if needed.

Incredibly unique, well stocked and comfortable! Perfect for a couples weekend getaway!

It is always a pleasure to stay with Angelique. Her property is always clean and fresh. It feels like coming home and is very cozy. The amenities are wonderful and Angelique thinks of everything when she adds her personal touches to the apartment. She is always pleasant and responsive. This is a great place to stay because you are not in the heart of the city and that takes you away from the hustle and bustle, the noise, and all the traffic in town. This is just a great place to go and unwind and feel welcomed and happy.

A paradise for those who love the woods like us. So quiet you could hear gentle breezes blowing through the trees. Cottage was clean and spacious inside. Nice side porch to sit on in the early evening. Ruth and Stephen were very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to another stay.

We loved our stay at Graham Ordinary! John and Kathy were so knowledgeable and gave such great recommendations of what to do and see during our stay. The mead tasting was very fun and informative! Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful home in Buchanan for two nights during our road trip across Virginia. Donald and his wife are amazing hosts and just awesome people to be around. They made us feel right at home when we arrived, gave us a tour of their beautiful property, showed us all the areas in the house we could hand out at and shared local recommendations around the area. The room we stayed at was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a beautiful view of the front porch and a big garden area. We were invited to join for breakfast both mornings where we were spoilt with delicious French toasts, eggs, sausages, pancakes, and coffee. Donald and his wife are great people and we had very engaging and interesting conversations together. Their place is beautiful and there is plenty to do around the area if you are visiting the Roanoke region. We would certainly be returning to their place in the near future.

Gosh, what a dream. Al and Jill were so incredibly friendly and welcoming - and the cozy space we booked was the perfect reprieve from daily the hustle and bustle. Their home is so beautiful - inside and out. We had such a peaceful and restorative weekend there. We so enjoyed the breakfast and the conversations with Al and Jill. We’ll be dreaming of that killer French toast for a long time!

My husband and I needed a quiet relaxing getaway and Old Oak Farm B&B was a perfect choice. The surrounding countryside was peaceful and picturesque. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and intentional in creating a great place for guests. It was also a fantastic price!

Sweet little country inn feel with beautiful mountain views. Yummy breakfasts and very gracious host. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for hiking.

The host is courteous and responsive. The location looks just like the photos. There is a lot to do inside of the home. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay so much! This historical beautiful home was stunning! It was comfortable and peaceful and beautiful! I loved sitting on the porch sipping coffee and walking the farm taking in the beautiful views. I loved sitting anything rich with history and this place didn’t disappoint! Syresa was knowledgeable about the history and shared some books about the house and families that built it. The will be staying there again! Friendly and very welcoming family!

The Historic Gibson house was the perfect place for our friends gathered for a wedding at Dewberry Farm. There was a large gathering room which was perfect for the bride and bridesmaids to ready everything the night before. Ashley was quick to respond for any request, though we really had everything thoughtfully provided by her already. I was really surprised that an older house could be so spotless and comfortable! Perfect new bathrooms! We had 4 different families in the 4 bedrooms and every family was beyond excited about how nice and clean everything was. Having 4 1/2 bathrooms is the best thing ever! Not having to share with non family members was so comfortable for everyone! I could not be more happy with our stay! I usually prefer new lodgings but this was an awesome, once in a lifetime experience able to be comfortably shared with friends who had traveled great distances to honor the bride. Ashley made it perfect!

Garrett was a great host! The home is exactly how it was described. Our family of 8 had a great time and the accommodations were perfect for kids 6-14 and adults alike! Also, it’s in a convenient location and quiet neighborhood. I would recommend to my friends.

The hosts were extremely responsive to my questions and requests during the stay. The house was a perfect spot for walking to Rupp and restaurants around Jefferson St. Plenty of space for all of us and enough room to host a graduation celebration one evening. Def recommend!

Our stay was perfect! The space was inviting, incredibly clean and well maintained. It is a perfect cozy spot for a winter getaway but I would also love to visit any other time of year. Robin’s Nest is at the top of our list when we return to Asheville.

Reeni is such a sweet lady! She is very responsive and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The place was squeaky clean and beautifully decorated. A very large handicap accessible unit with everything you need for a great stay in the area. Look forward to staying with her next time we are in the area!
