There is no hot plate or oven in the apartment, but microwave, toast iron, etc. There is a shared entrance with the host from the backyard, but the apartment is located by itself on the 3rd floor (or 2nd floor for those who count with "ground floor"). There are about 35 steps up to the apartment and it has its own lockable door.
