Cabin holiday rentals in Bogue Chitto

This cabin was the perfect nature escape! We spotted a rare woodpecker, flying squirrels, and even a family of foxes—truly magical. The trails and creeks were peaceful and fun to explore, and the cabin itself was cozy, art-filled, and very clean. The porch was even better than the photos, and the jetted tub was perfect after long hikes. Only suggestion: a couple more towels would’ve been helpful. Otherwise, it was perfect—we can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I had a lovely weekend at Twin Forks Farmhouse at Fortenberry Farms. We spent an entire day on the back porch. Even though it was warm, the outdoor fans kept it cool. While we were unable to pick up the wifi in some areas of the house, we were able to use it when we were fairly close to the router in the living room and den. But even when we couldn't pick it up, it was nice to not be glued to our phones. On the tv, we were able to login into our streaming accounts. The house was very comfortable and clean. It was the weekend getaway we needed!

My wife and I were very pleased. We just wanted to get away from everything for our 25th anniversary, and this cabin was perfect. It was quiet, private, peaceful. We didn't really do anything or go anywhere, but it was perfect for what we wanted...peace from the chaos of life, just the two of us. The cabin was clean, nice, exactly as described. The bathrooms were immaculate, and the porch with the tub was new and clean. We loved that it was screened in to keep nature's little flying creatures away from us lol. We're grateful to have been able to find this cabin and we're already considering going back if we go somewhere for our 26th lol. Communication was great, and finding the key and getting in was a snap. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.

Lovely cabin. Comfortable and peaceful. This was our second stay at one of Marianne's properties, and we loved both!

Michael's cabin was so perfect for our weekend getaway. It was private and peaceful and had so many amenities that we enjoyed out there in the woods. He was a great host and very communicative and informative from the time I booked til the day of check in and check out. I'm so happy we stumbled across this home. It was beautiful inside and out.

Me and Family stayed at the cabin for 1 night on our way back from Florida. The Cabin is very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept very good. There was plenty of outdoor and indoor games that kept my grandchildren occupied. I will definitely stay again next time I am in the area

Beautiful and so peaceful! Our family of 9 loved waking up early in the morning to listen to the beautiful birdsong and watch the fog roll off the pond. Our kiddo crew loved catching and releasing frogs and watching the wildlife. The home was pristine and immaculately kept. A cool feature was having the walking trails on-site! A sweet addition from the owners Aaron and Linda was having wood delivered, for evenings spent around the fire.

Had a wonderful long weekend at Jeanne's cottage. Great view with a great beach just off the back porch. The cabin has plenty of seating and doesn't feel cramped. Window unit A/Cs in each room, so each person can set the temperature how they prefer. The only thing that was a little bit of a surprise is there are are a handful of homes within the same area of land, so you don't have total privacy, but that wasn't a big deal for us. Also, one of the pics shows people on tubes and we were hoping to watch people tubing by the cabin, but that didn't happen. I think the pic was of a family playing in the river and using the tubes provided at the cabin (which was GREAT fun, the river felt fantastic!). Overall, a great place and well worth the price.

we had a great time staying.. the neighbors dog was awful but just tell him to go home and he would. very nice to open the blinds and watch the water flow by.

Beautiful little getaway in Mississippi. Cabin was right on the creek and the grounds had a lot of amenities: dog park, mini-golf, playground for the kids. Everyone had a great time!

This place is amazing! These cabins are so wonderful. Really good energy. The land around is sweet, soothing, and beautiful!!! The spring fed creek winds through the clay. The sounds of the wild permeate the day and night. Bess is a lovely, caring, and responsive host. Clearly a lot of love woven into this land and the cabins. A special gem through and through.

It was the perfect little place. Cabins were cool and clean. The bed a little squeaky but overall the cain was great. We grilled our food in the communal area which had a great feel to it. All utensils were clean as well as the cooking area. The cats and dogs were so friendly, we spent the night sat around the fire with the dogs and cats all laid around. We loved it here, we didn’t catch any fish and the wind was too strong to take out a kayak but the little beach was pretty and nicely made, could definitely do to have a bit more seating down there as there was only 1 chair. Overall we had fun, the host was friendly and the animals were amazing. We didn’t have to bring anything other than food, some soap, towels and fishing stuff. Worth the money 100%

We had a great stay; everything was comfortable and we were able to relax and decompress. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Sitting on the front porch reading and listening to the fountain, that was the most relaxed I’ve been in a long time. This place is perfect for a couple’s long weekend getaway.

Stunning cabin on the water, even more beautiful in person than it was in the photos. The place is immaculate and well stocked with any thing you could need. Loved the property, we travel quite a bit and frequently stay in airbnbs. This one is very special, we will be back!

If you want a beautiful, peaceful, private place this is it!! Our little family loved it and we did not want to leave. We stayed outdoors the whole time either by the fire pit area which was surrounded by trees and canopy to keep cool and shaded, or we were on the creek and playing in the sand. Definitely will stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The farm and surrounding area is beautiful, hot tub was amazing, and it was perfect for a quiet getaway. Would definitely stay again!

This was the best experience we have had with a host. Very accommodating, and willing to help in anyway possible. The place is gorgeous!! Way in the woods and so peaceful. Host lives next door but not an issue at all. So helpful and a joy to talk to. We will be back.
