Transient Home 1 - Main Town Romblon

Our place is centrally located at the heart of Romblon. Just a few minutes walk from the main port, some tourist spots and restaurants. Easy to grab a ride to visit some beaches. Our check-in and check-out time is adjustable but subject to availability. This home may not be new, but we made sure that the basic amenities are provided and that everything is clean and neat. We also manage a small private beach resort in Alad island, Romblon that all our Transient Home guest has free entrance to.

This relaxing two storey and fully furnished home is ready to accommodate a family, a set of peers and perfect as a retirement home for elders. Enjoy the sea breeze, the humming birds in the morning and the glowing light of the fireflies at night. The place is located at the mangrove and bird sanctuary in Barangay Ginablan, twenty minute drive from the town. Day tour is open upon request of the guest extra fee will be charged.

The place was easy to find and the host was very nice and responsive. The host also provided soap, towels, and clean drinking water for us (which they also refilled upon request). The host also had pamphlets for possible things to do on the island, activity recommendations, and the like. There is a tricycle toda nearby (~50m away) so the place is very much accessible. It also near the municipal hospital and the wet market. Do take note that the property is located uphill so this may be something to think about if travelling with elderly (but it is accessible by car, just a bit of a tight squeeze for bigger cars like SUVs). There was an island wide brownout (very quick though), the host was thoughtful enough to provide us with an emergency light that illuminated the whole room. Their refrigerator was big and the cooking utensils were complete (they also had basic seasonings like salt, sugar, soy sauce, etc.) We were also able to grill on the property with charcoal Thank you so much!

We had an amazing stay! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the local seafood dishes prepared by Ate Nita, who is an incredible cook. Ate Mayang was extremely helpful and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. The team went above and beyond by arranging our entire travel itinerary and meals, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The owner provided detailed information about what to expect, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The place itself was peaceful and fully equipped with toiletries and kitchen essentials. It felt like a home away from home. Overall, it was a fun and worry-free travel experience. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back.

We were lucky enough to spend five nights in this beautiful, family owned island paradise. It’s the perfect place to unwind and be fully immersed in the natural beauty of Alad, Romblon. We loved everything about our stay, from the sleek modern rooms to the beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and cook the most delicious Filipino meals using fresh produce from their garden and seafood from local fisherman. You can take a paddle boat out to explore, snorkel or swim at one of the islands beaches or simply relax and enjoy the serenity. Giselle was a wonderful host who was always contactable and helpful. We hope to return soon!
