Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bonnie Doon

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend by the lake. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and in a great location with a gorgeous view over the water. The kitchen was really well-appointed with plenty of everything we needed to make a meal. The beds were comfy and the shower had great water pressure! It rained most of our stay but we kept warm and dry with the lovely fire and watched DVDs - there were loads to choose from. When the rain cleared it was an easy drive into Mansfield and the hosts left great recommendations for coffee, shopping and meals. We also went for some lakeside walks and tried our hands at fishing - all right out the front of the cottage. Our host was so responsive and friendly offering great recommendations and advice and made check-in and check-out a breeze. Loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, a five-minute walk into town and all the great coffee shops and restaurants. Electric blankets on the bed and the heated bathroom floor were very welcome additions to a very comfortable home. Fiona was a great host, very welcoming and friendly in her communications with us.

By far the best place I've stayed with my family.... EVER ! The view is incredible, the house is stunning, it has everything you possibly need and more !! Being able to launch my boat from the waterfront was amazing and the spa at night under the stars was incredible. The open outdoor fire place was put to good use and we ate outside every night, as the outdoor setting is like Tuscany :) This is oficially my favourite ever AIRBNB. Huge thanks Tania, for sharing this place.

We had the most amazing time at this Airbnb, everything was exactly as described and even better in person. The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Would 100% recommend to anyone and would love to stay again. Excellent house! Had everything we needed and more!

Pops place was lovely for a family getaway. With a wonderful decking and massive backyard there was plenty of room for everyone. The home itself had such a nice homey feel and was decorated so well, with so many different places to rest & relax.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rebecca’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The property was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Rebecca was a fantastic host – responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions and a peaceful atmosphere that made it a perfect retreat. We appreciated the detailed guidebook with recommendations for the area. Bonnie Doon is already a absolutely great destination & Petes hideaway particularly was the best hideaway with the lot ive ever stayed at maybe our host Ryan had much to do with that too.thanks Ryan I left you a small list off your grocery things we used & ran out off. thanks to your welcome chat. The accomodation was great! Really clean and modern unit, and John was easy to get in contact with.

Had a wonderful stay at Geoffrey’s place! It was cozy, comfortable and peaceful! Geoffrey was a great host too, providing us with lots of information prior to our arrival and even welcomed us when we reached to give us a little tour of the place. Definitely one of the best host ever!

Very comfortable base for our cycling trips on the Great Victorian Rail trail. Good location, very walkable distance to shopping strip (and eating places etc.). Bath came in handy for post-ride aches! Lots of TVs, though you need to download Netflix etc. onto your own devices. Fridge is a little loud (cycles on and off), though the place itself is very quiet with only soft bird-song. Lots of heating in house (we didn't use the split-system cooler, as the weather wasn't hot at all when we were there).

Kathryn’s place was so warm and inviting. Everthing you would need is in the unit. Magazines, games, washing machine which was very handy. The unit was spotless and the decor was really beautiful. The pub was 7 min walking distance. Had dinner there one night and the food was excellent. Benalla was a lovely place to visit and so was Kathryn’ s Airbnb. Thank you Kathryn

Really nice place, incredibly comfortable bed and great range of pillows for people like me finicky about pillows. As we were there in the dead of winter, a very effective heater was also a pleasure to get back to. Veronica’s home-made muesli was a great treat too and it was a pleasure meeting her. Definitely would stay again.

Great peaceful place in the forest, the ride to the place was bumpy but other than that everything was fine

We traveled to Benalla to look at all the local street art, Fiona’s place was a comfortable and quiet place to relax after a long days walking around.
