Sleep in a trailer, sleep in a boat! Super chill atmosphere on 3 acres with porch to enjoy. Hotel accommodations like air conditioning, heat, clean sheets, towels and coffee/tea but camping style. Take a train ride, ride the Rail Explorers, kayak down the Des Moines River or visit the Ledges. Includes separate entrance and spacious living quarters. Has pool table, bar, and kitchenette area. Two comfortable separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom. We have dwarf Nigerian goats that love treats, and horses and ponies that love attention.

Our place has one or two private rooms on the upper level,good for couples.Entire upper level is yours to use along with small kitchen ,full bath - (a small nook for kids or 1 adult)We also have garage space for bikes! Dee was a fantastic host. Last minute booking and it was as if I had booked weeks in advance. Very accommodating, communicative and everything was as advertised. Parking down the street during the evening hours as enforced by a city ordinance was very easy as the streets and lots are very well lit.

We had several days of graduation events at Iowa State. Everything worked perfectly. The space was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Since we had three days here, we brought foods to cook and consume on site. The kitchen had all the pans, utensils, and appliances we needed. We have more events next spring in the area. We intend to book early and stay here again.
