Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Boone County

We loved our stay at Hideaway on Hazel. The house was super cute and comfy. King bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was updated and modern and the dining room was perfect for working on my laptop. The backyard was my favorite serene place to read a book, drink coffee in the morning, and hot tub in the evening. The house is located in a quiet and pretty neighborhood with a trail just down the street to take our dog. It is super close to Iowa State Campus and downtown restaurants. 30 minutes from Ledges State Park and High Trestle Bridge trail. We would stay here every time we came to Ames!

Anthony’s house is really nice and clean. Darn near spotless. He was very responsive when I messaged him. He said he was actively working to deal with the only issue I experienced regarding noise from a nearby property. It was a positive stay overall for me.

The house is very roomy, decorated well, well stocked kitchen. Very homey. Six of us rented the house and we enjoyed having a few fellow bikers come for dinner in the evening. Everyone enjoyed very much!

We booked Bre’s place for a college friends golf reunion. Great communication, clean, plenty of space and the screened in porch was very enjoyable! Would stay here again when visiting old friends/campus.

Abby was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. The home was exactly as pictured - a beautiful, well-kept space with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed being right on the lake. A lovely and relaxing stay!

The Garden Home was perfect for our family! We had 8 adults and it was a great space for all of us. Clean, cozy, and in a good neighborhood. Kitchen had plenty of amenities, house was well stocked with everything we needed. Pictures match the space, and listing description was all spot on. We would definitely return!

I loved staying at this Airbnb. Danielle was very accommodating and the house was located in an ideal area for me with access to peaceful walks around the Drake College campus. The house was in a quiet area, was spacious, comfortable and clean. A full kitchen and laundry facility were a big plus. I would definitely stay again.

Ryan was a wonderful host. We decided to book super late at night! He was super responsive, there was a storm that took the electricity of the entire neighborhood that night. We felt safe and secure in the neighborhood. He responded when we made him aware of the light being out, even though it was almost midnight! The home was as described, all the pictures are true to the T. Clean very homey feeling! Thank you for accommodating us so very late! We booked this at almost 11 p.m.!!!! And we were accommodated!!!! Easy, friendly, fast, efficient access to the property.

I had to book this place for my parents for a funeral and Josh was very understanding. My parents enjoyed their stay and would stay there again!

My son and I were in town for his college orientation, and Jenna’s apartment was the perfect bikeable distance to campus, downtown, and groceries. It was cute and we loved the patio for breakfast Al fresco. We had a little snafu getting in with the code but Jenna was responsive and helped us through it quickly. Thanks!

We spent the weekend checking out ISU and the area. Jolita's place is very conveniently located on a main (but not particularly busy) road, making it easy for us to get anywhere we chose. The home is quaint and cozy, and suited us perfectly :) We look forward to checking out the neighborhood more when the weather warms up.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was great for two people. It was clean and quiet and nicely decorated.

Britta’s place was wonderful. She is so easy to work with and so pleasant! She responded very quickly to questions. It was very hot weather during our visit but her place was very comfortable with the air conditioners and fans!! I would highly recommend booking with her. It is a good value for the money.

Angela’s place is beautiful. Clean, cozy, quiet. I only wish I could have stayed longer and fully enjoyed the yard and amenities. Definitely recommend!

Great space for families, lots of toys, books and games. The kitchen cabinets were well stocked and laundry was a great bonus.

Great location for where we needed to be! We had an issue with from door lock upon arrival but Amanda provided us a workaround immediately and it was great after that! Nice place. Quiet! Love the ground level!
