Bungalow with lagoon view and direct access to the sea. Ideal for couples or small families wishing to visit our beautiful island while feeling at home.
“I don't even know where to begin. This little slice of Heaven was waaaaay more than we ever anticipated. The bungalow itself was spacious, well-equipped, and had a very comfortable bed but the very best part of this lovely accommodation was the overwater lanai, the incredible view, and the complete privacy! We saw baby sharks, turtles, and so many beautiful fish. My fiance liked to jump directly into the lagoon from the lanai but I preferred to enter from the side with the small sandy beach. We really hated to leave this amazing gem and if we venture back to Bora Bora, we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!!!!”
On the island of Bora Bora, a fare on stilts entirely in wood built in the purest Polynesian tradition, located in a quiet and residential area 10 km from Vaitape and its shops. The fare is placed on one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world passing from emerald green to turquoise blue
“So many things to share about this place and location. Wonderful bungalow, clean and has everything you need. Snorkeling around the bungalow was fun. I fished a bunch and caught several nice fish from the dock. For US folks I would recommend getting local cash and NOT using US dollars. We used the ATM at the bank just as you get off water taxi from the airport. Please fell free to email me with questions. Lagoon service has some amazing excursions and they are a MUST. Swim with rays and sharks and lunch was amazing. We ate at food trucks all week and loved it. One dinner at the Yacht Club was good but pricey. We brought our own bottle of hard liquor because it’s so expensive. Had a great time. Cliffy94@yahoo.com”
Overwater bungalow N°3 Bungalow N°3 is a unique overwater bungalow with an open flow living room & kitchen design leaving you with unobstructed 180° panoramic views of Bora Bora's famous lagoon. Its no wonder that this luxurious bungalow was once owned by Hollywood's own Jack Nicholson. You will find paradise relaxing on the terrace, enjoying cool ocean breezes, swimming in the lagoon, watching the setting sun or enjoying the nightly animation of fish swimming around the underwater lights.
“You should stay here! We spent a magical week celebrating our 15 year anniversary at Bungalow #3. The views are breathtaking, being overwater means no bugs and immediate access to the water. We compared our experience with those who stayed at the resorts and we're so glad we stayed here instead! You get way more space, a well-equipped kitchen, AC in the bedroom, and kayaking and snorkeling gear ready for your use. One large perk is that you're on the mainland where the resorts are on their own private islands. The resorts take advantage of that fact to price gouge guests. A Coke will cost nearly $10 on several resorts but can be found for less than $2.00 at Super U or Chin Lee's down the street. We had full easy access to the island which we loved, even though just staying in the Bungalow was enough of a treat! Being able to choose when to make our own meal and when to go to a restaurant or food truck (Nico's!) made a big difference on our trip and helped save money for massages, quad tour, jet ski tour, and snorkeling tour. Nearly every morning and evening we pulled out the kayak to explore the bay. That was the best perk! Also seeing the fish swimming by the bungalow at night was a lot of fun. Don't forget to sit in the lounge chairs at night to enjoy the stars! We also rented the car through the host and that proved to be a very convenient way to go. Since it's a few minutes drive into town, I wouldn't want to do that by foot or bike and renting through the host gave me one less thing to worry about. One thing I didn't realize is that the tours will usually pick you up and drop you off at your place, so technically we could have gotten by without a car for a few days but I'm glad I had it just for peace of mind. If you want the overwater bungalow experience without the price gouging of the resorts, this is the way to go! You won't regret it. The only"negative" I can think of is there is a rooster or two living nearby that I wouldn't mind turning into dinner! But that's island life for you... Enjoy :)”
