Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The house is even better than we expected. You will be allowed to spend your vacation in rural-style, handling fire in the stove, cooking on coal, and strolling neighbourhood upside-down. In a nutshell: bedroom is cosy, view to the lake is stunning, living studio on the first floor with a kitchen, where stove is located, is spacious and decorated, terrace is also huge, we personally loved to sit on the seesaw and drink coffee watching the lake. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower, on the first and second floor (second one connected to bedroom) Also the hospitality was over any estimates. We were welcomed with a shot of homemade rakija, also host helped us arranging a boat ride and was always there to help. Totally recommend, I left a piece of my heart there.

Peaceful place, to relax for a couple of days

Thanks a lot to you and your family, the experience was great with a lot to do. One of the days the kids refused to leave the house. The host was always checking by messages and provide recommendations for the area. For sure I will recommend the place and if I come again it will be my first choice. Best wishes

A place with a lovely view at Sarajevo just 15-17minmin by walk from Baščaršija. It is worth to mention that price for the view from the apartment is climbing up a moderately steep hill for quite some time. It is difficult to park close to the apartment at the same height, but the host kindly helped us to park at the bottom. We felt very much taken care of and Mithat offered us help at any occasion.

Our stay here for 2 days in transit was perfect. The cottage and the garden are very pleasant , especially with our two small children, and the immediate surroundings are greener than can be seen in the photos. The cottage is very close to the waterfalls that are breathtakingly beautiful, and Ilijana also gave us the tip for a very nice beautiful swimming place nearby. We were received and waved off in a super friendly way. Thank you Ilijana for the nice stay! Tip: make sure you have cash for the restaurants at the waterfalls and for the tasty treats in Ilijana's shop. (Honey jam and more)

Denad's accommodation is a dream! An accommodation 15 minutes from Mostar and surrounded by nature. A place to relax and enjoy. The house is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. The beautiful pool surrounded by lavender and rosemary bushes invites you to relax. My best AirBnB experience so far! Thanks Denad

Amar and Lejla's accommodation is really something special. House No. 1 is stylish and cozy and above all very clean. The outdoor kitchen with the unique backdrop of the river was incredible! We liked to have breakfast on the terrace in the morning. Joint dinners and coffee breaks - we felt very welcome. With the quiet location, the hospitality and the organic products, we felt very comfortable. Many tips on sights and nearby cities were gladly heard. Amar and Lejla have created an idyllic little mini-resort near the Drina! We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed 15 days and experienced an exciting time with many beautiful impressions. We would recommend it to anyone without hesitation!

The place is clean and has all the supplies and the host is very helpful, cooperative and quick to respond. He did his best with us. The garden is wonderful. There is a boat with a view of the river. The hall and the bedrooms are modest but clean. The bedrooms do not have air conditioners. The location is very good on the river and next to an excellent garden

I booked supper last minute due to a flight cancellation. My request thankfully was able to be accommodated, with great communication that was much appreciated at such a difficult time. Nadini was an exceptional host from the outset and through out. The commitment, kindness and care Nadini demonstrated as a host means I would not hesitate to recommend for anyone, particularly a solo traveler. The hosting is unobtrusive yet reassuring. The location is a perfect spot for experiencing all of Sarajevo, with both the old town and mountain just minutes away. The accommodation in the garden apartment was reminiscent of student accommodation and staying with my old Auntie, both of which have happy memories for me. The outside space in the winter was much appreciated with snow and birds, I can only imagine how beautiful it is in spring time, I would happily return just to find out. The hill to the apartment is manageable by anyone with a basic level of mobility and fitness.

Great appartment, some oddities but superb location. The room layout was a bit odd, style was a bit dated, pull-out bed was so-so. Would I book again? Yes, certainly.

We stayed in Alma's place as a group of 5. The flat consists of 2 bedrooms (each with double beds, comfortably fitting 2 people) and a large living room, which is connected with the kitchen. We used one of the couches in the living room to accommodate the fifth member of our party + there were 2 additional couches in the living where we could all hang out together. Overall, I'd describe the flat as very spacious, clean and in good condition - I personally think the photos on Airbnb don't do it justice, because it looks even better in real life. We visited around New Year's Eve, when it was very cold in Sarajevo, but the heaters combined with some extra warmth from the AC system made our stay warm and cozy. As for parking, we were allowed to park in front of Alma's garage (space for 1 car), but there's also free public parking available. Alma was great at communicating and very responsive all throughout. A great host! :)

Adna is a great host! Even though we arrived late, she welcomed us at the apartment and kindly showed us around. She is very friendly and answered all our questions no matter the time. The apartment has everything you need even a gym upstairs! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bosnia. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Arzu and Emin’s place, and they were the most incredible hosts we’ve ever met. The house was beautifully designed with every little detail thoughtfully arranged , honestly, the best stay we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Bosnia, this is it. Beautiful Mountain Escape! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a memorable few days in this wonderful little house in the middle of the mountains. The place was super clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a nature stay. The windows had a fantastic view of the forest and mountain peaks and the peace and quiet was priceless. The fireplace in the living room added a special charm in the evenings, while we enjoyed the warmth and relaxing atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, always available for any questions. They also recommended us great trails for hiking and hidden places in nature. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a true mountain experience!

The road to the lake is really really bad, if you decided to come to the this magnificent place pleace choose suv car. But the place isall worth it. The cabins view is amazing. It is ok for 3 person. We wish there was a water boiler in the kitchen. Namirs brother Samir took care of us with his lovely wife, they are amazing people and really helpful. Breakfast also amazing, we enjoy every moment of our stay thanks so much

Really special stay! Amazing panorama. The barbecue outside gives you a good vibe. We loved watching the evening projector movie. It was clean and well-equipped. We would come back anytime:)

Maroje is a super host, the apartment is great with a very nice view over the lake. If you want Maroje can prepare dinner for you and we were surprised with a delicious Bosnian lunch on arrival. You have your own privacy but can also get in touch with the host and his family and the dogs, goats and donkeys 😊. Ps the internet is also great and there is Netflix 🤗 We had a great time!!

Great place to spend a weekend. There is everything you need, and more. The kitchen has very beautiful amenities. Overall the house is beautifully decorated and on New Year's Eve everything was festively decorated.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful log cabin! The peaceful atmosphere and scenic location were perfect. The host’s dogs were adorable, and we really appreciated their kindness in providing a baby chair for us. There was a minor ant issue, but the hosts responded incredibly quickly to resolve it. Highly recommend!
