Christine place was beyond it was very clean well put together fells like you at home definitely would recommend to anyone i gave it a five star 🌟 10/10 definitely going back.

Location is beautiful.. quite relaxing comfortable.. if you need to get away from people n just want to relax paradise view is the destination… stepping out of the house and reaching the beach in seconds Feeling Secure and safe is another statement, I haven’t closed my door not one night I stayed there. It was so comfy knowing your safe .. I surly will book this air bnb again

This charming, older home exceeded our expectations with its breathtaking views and warm ambiance. The location is fantastic, with an amazing restaurant within walking distance—such a treat! The neighbors were welcoming, adding to the overall cozy and friendly atmosphere. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved it so much that we’ll definitely be back! One small note for future guests: the road to the house is best suited for all-wheel-drive vehicles, but it’s absolutely worth it for the incredible experience. Highly recommend!

Hello My husband and I flew down for the Holiday. Our stay was nice and peaceful. The airbnb was clean and the area was quiet. All my wants and needs was address. It was like a one stop shop. We had a car rental setup and ready to go when we reach. We was picked up from the airport by the Host friend for $40.00 I will recommend this airbnb to whoever is looking for a nice and relaxing place to stay in Portmore Jamaica 🇯🇲

Donna's place is brilliant. Right on the beach I swam every day. I had a huge room with great facilities and a view of coconut trees and the Caribbean sea. There is also wonderful wildlife to see: pelicans diving off the beach and egrets and other birds wading nearby. It is well located for getting in and out of Kingston, or nipping to Harbour View for food or shopping. Also very nearby are the beautiful Cane River Falls and Bob Marley Beach. But what really makes Donna's place so special is the welcome you will receive and how well Donna will look after you. She made us delicious Jamaican dishes such as saltfish and akee, her own grown callaloo and mangoes fresh from the tree. Always there with a smile and providing a relaxed atmosphere to hang out in and have a rum. Donna and her family also kindly helped out with transport and company on local trips and great advice on places to visit. It is just a great place to be and experience the real Jamaica, meet people, relax and have fun.

Home was very comfy and exactly what is on the photos host is amazing she gets back same day the house has everything you need to make you feel at home this home is the home for your vacation book it if your staying in Portmore or if your traveling to Portmore won’t regret it

Keisha was very nice to us and always made sure everything was okay. She even has her own service to take you to the airport and in my case I used it and She is great!! The house was very nice and we felt at home. Thank you See u next time in Jamaica or maybe in Spain :) King regards, Ana

We booked this trip as a mini vacation for my husband’s birthday weekend and it was exactly what we needed, a cozy, peaceful place to just slow down and relax. It was very quiet; had I not seen other persons around the property, I would’ve been convinced that we were the only ones there. The pool was very clean and the property well maintained, staff was courteous. The room is very beautiful in the evenings when the sun is setting, and if you open the window, you can hear the ocean washing against the shore, which was very calming. The only drawback was that we were expecting the building to be situated by an actual beach; it wasn’t much of a beach, seemed mostly like it was just for fishing, but you can still go wet your feet in the shallow parts and walk on the sand (this has nothing to do with the host and didn’t impact my stay very much, it’s just how I interpreted the pictures on the listing page). The pool was always available though, up till 8pm. All in all, we had a good time.

the place looks exactly the same as the photos and was very peaceful however have the cleaners check properly while cleaning we found an used cup under the sofa and moldy under a bowl in the kitchen cupboard but other than that everything was great.

Natasha was super helpful with responding within the hour (maybe within 30 minutes even) when we needed a place to stay on short notice. She was friendly and communicative throughout our short stay. The place was nice, small, and comfortable. Perfect for 1-2 people. The building has nice outdoors space that’s good for sitting/lounging and just relaxing. If I was in Portmore again, I’d stay here another time.

Hidden Gem! Precious's Place is a hidden gem! A wonderful place to relax and enjoy with family. The house was extremely clean with adequate space , and had everything we needed. Precious was super responsive. A very quiet, peaceful place with TIGHT security. Close to Hellshire beach, walking distance to a Church and shopping centres. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. I definitely got value for my money! Thanks again Precious!

It's the perfect location for a stop off after coming from the airport. Beautiful apartment with lovely views over the sea, and for watching the ships and planes take off. The craft market is nearby to get souvenirs of your visit and host was very responsive, patient and helpful during our stay.

My month-long stay at Jacqueline's place from January 11th to February 11th, 2025, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. Jacqueline is a truly exceptional host – warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, and even checked in periodically to see how my stay was going.Her kindness and hospitality was bar none. The property itself was exactly as described in the listing, and even better in person. It was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, which was perfect. The location was ideal, close to public transport and within easy reach of the downtown markets and shopping centers. I highly recommend Jacqueline's place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether you're visiting for a short trip or a longer stay like mine, you won't be disappointed. We had a wonderful stay at Katawud. The location is stunning, nestled among forest on the edge of a village, and a 30 second walk to a river where you can swim and clamber over rocks. The team were very welcoming and helpful. They linked us up with a local guide who led us on an informative walk in the forest, teaching us about bird and plant species. We also watched a documentary about the history of Maroons. There were lots of other tours and activities available. We were treated to tasty vegetarian meals each evening, and generally felt very well looked after. The room was spacious and comfy, and complete with things to keep you entertained (e.g. books, pool table, and children's playground). The team were also very helpful with communication e.g. about public transport to reach the accommodation. There was loud music (from the village) on Friday, which we didn't mind but some might. Overall, highly recommend, especially if you are a nature lover!

Marlon and the team have made this place really nice- nestling the cabins amongst the natural beauty of the trees, with lots of choices of places to sit or sunbathe. You have a sea view, and can watch the clouds go by, with music like you are in a spa. The cabins are cool, light, and clean, and have a fridge freezer so you can keep cold drinks and snacks for yourself. You will need mosquito repellent when outside the room in the evening, but if you look carefully, will be rewarded with the sight of toads, bats, and Jack crows, and the amazing sounds of nature at night. Breakfast and hot drinks were an unexpected extra. The evening meals I had were good too. It is out of town but you can walk to the road to get a shared taxi into Long bay, or to visit Port Antonio- though I didn't do it as solo female traveller at night. All the staff were friendly and Marlon was also helpful in arranging an early morning airport transfer for me. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay when in Portland. It’s my third time here and the space has been extended and improved. For us it’s a home from home. The sounds of the waves crashing on the shore line is very calming.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Bamboo Treehouse Great Huts Resort ! The treehouse was beyond amazing – perched in a beautiful, serene spot with breathtaking views that made every moment feel magical. The design and atmosphere were perfect, creating a cozy and immersive experience in nature. The staff and host went above and beyond, always friendly and incredibly hospitable, making sure we felt welcomed and cared for. Our Airbnb host was fantastic – responsive, kind, and truly dedicated to ensuring we had a memorable stay. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique and rustic getaway in Jamaica!

It was a wonderful 3 nights in Long Bay and this place had the perfect location for us. Sandy Beach 1 minute walk away, Route taxi $200 jmd to get to Blue Lagoon which is free to get in and a beautiful spot to swim in fresh water. Plus we could walk to our favorite chef Lance at Heartfelt Foods on Long Bay Beach. I live in Jamaica 4 months of the year and have stayed at many airbnbs..this one I will definitely be back to. Chris the manager nice professional man, he also let us know about a party going on the Friday night which we would not have just found so we went and had a blast!. I also love the gas station across the street for quick drinks and morning coffee. Thank You One Love Andrea and Dameion.

This property is located in a lovely fishing community, it is very homey and my family and I enjoyed being right by the sea (not the beach). We were able to pick breadfruits and roast it, coconuts and enjoy the water and meat and just chill by the sea side with our family. While we enjoyed our stay, we would be remiss if we didn't talk about the chickens and roosters on property. The roosters did affect our quality of sleep, they crowed between 12 and 5am and they made a lot of droppings on property (so with a 1 year old we had to be ensuring they didn't step in it) We would definitely stay again because the pros outweighed the cons. But I would say bare that in mind before booking. If the host is able to get rid of the chickens/roosters but if not, just condition your mind for disruptions (we have).
