Great stay at Domaine de Candide, a beautiful cottage in the middle of the Nevers countryside. The place is beautiful, bordered by the river. We immediately felt good there, thanks to the calm of the place and the hospitality of Cyril who provides many small touches for his guests.

A cozily furnished gîte, exterior natural stone, inside wooden walls. In a quiet location located in a hamlet, opposite the hosts' house. A south-facing wooden deck and south-facing backyard. With nice weather, enjoy the sun and birds chirping here! The kitchen is fine, plenty of pans and utensils. Bathroom downstairs, bathroom upstairs, 4 bedrooms with lots of beds and cribs. House is also suitable for families with children(ren), there are lots of toys, high chairs, etc. Underfloor heating downstairs, radiators upstairs. Bedding and towels included. The area is beautiful, a lot of natural beauty (including plots with Christmas trees) and wildlife, is great for walks both directly from home and a little further away. A dam deer park and the Roche des Fées nearby, the lake of St Agnan at about 6 km., towns of Saulieu, Avallon, Vézelay at 15-30 minutes by car. Discreet hosts, helpful if needed. Our stay at Charles V was excellent. The hosts Michel Henry and Nadia were super friendly and were able to speak excellent English (and some Flemish) which was helpful. The house/rooms felt new. The building is very old but it has been renovated to allow for a very comfortable and luxurious stay. We highly recommend this place.

Everything is spotless, the Jaccuzi in the cave is amazing! We had a perfect stay, I would recommend 100%!

What a lovely place. Very nice service, fantastic location and wonderful views. The room was large and had a nice terrace. Great bathroom and comfy bed. For the price I think this is absolutely excellent value and a real gem. They were also very kind to my dog and welcoming there also. Just a great stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a nice studio where everything is available. The garden is very nice and the pool is lovely. The terrace in the garden is very nice. Elisabeth is a good and friendly host and gave good tips.

New chalet, very well equipped, quality dishes and in sufficient quantity. Equipped with a dishwasher. Very comfortable shower for this type of accommodation. Very nice terrace. Very friendly owners. Swimming pool in the campsite. 3-star campsite that deserves a 4th.

This was the second time we stayed here, as a stopover on our way south. Perfect place, friendly host, nice family rooms with bed linen and towels. Next door a baker and close to a kebab tent. Ideal food on arrival and the bakery so much choice for delicious breakfast or lunch on the go. Lots of parking. In other words, recommended, and we will probably come even more often:-).

Very peaceful and easy to reach place Very functional and optimized mobile home. (Close toilet and shower! ) Very nice terrace and garden Perfect for couple and 2 children as separate bedrooms. Perfect communication with the property owner throughout my stay. I would recommend it in a second.

Our stay was perfect! The place, outside, communication with Patricia. Nothing to say. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is nickel and ultra equipped. There are several places to eat and relax. We had an amazing chance with this sun, which allowed us to enjoy the outdoors, the bbq as well as the Jacuzzi. Patricia and her husband are extremely kind and responded very quickly to our requests. Airbnb has everything you need to stay, which is rare these days (soap, dish soap, garbage bags... and even cookies when we arrive!) I would 100% recommend this Airbnb and can't wait to go back. House nearby to Annemasse railway station and to Genève. A few shared rooms decent for a few days.
