House holiday rentals in Bowden

Our group of 5 really enjoyed our stay in Janelle's house. The suburb 'Dulwich' is a leafy, affluent suburb with a safe and private feel. There are lots of places to walk around the streets or over the road and into the park. The house really suited our group, we were all very comfortable. There were ample provisions in the kitchen too for our 4 night stay. We enjoyed the very large TV screen and the having the Bluetooth speaker to use. The showers and bathrooms were great, with lots of products to use should you forget your own. The home has a central heating/air conditioning system. It was a shame we didn't get to use the pool, the weather was a little bit too cold for that but it looked clean and inviting! I appreciated the regular and responsive communication from Janelle. Everything was smooth, efficient and I would totally recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay here.

Had a great weekend in Glenelg for a friend's 60th. Short walk to Jetty road and the Marina for a multitude of dining choices. The home was comfortable and tidy. We were able to cook breakfast on the BBQ and for tea were able to use the kitchen for our seafood banquet. Due to it being such a cold weekend were unable to use the pool hut would expect it would be a great bonus for summer days. Loved watching the planes coming in over the ocean. We were a group of 6 adults.

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. This place was great for what we wanted/needed. Plenty of space for myself, my wife, 18 month old daughter and in-laws. The house was as described in the listing and looks like the photos. Plenty of toys available for my daughter to play with and plenty of space for us all to relax. It’s in a nice area and it is easy to get anywhere. Nice quiet street. Good heating in the entire house and good water pressure in the shower. The hosts are extremely responsive to any messages. eg. when we arrived there was no cot or high chair (as we requested) but after a quick message, there was a brand new one of each on the doorstep within about 30 minutes. Brilliant service. A couple of improvements I could suggest would be having a remote for the front gate and some written instructions for the heating system (was easy enough to use once we worked it out tho) I would definitely recommend this place and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

What a find! Superb accommodation in the Adelaide Hills. Large gardens (with own resident koala and kangaroos). Beautiful surroundings, very tranquil. Furnished to a high quality throughout. Amazing responsive and friendly hosts. So glad we found this place. Highly recommended

This little house is gorgeous! The bedrooms and bathrooms are stylish and super comfy, the highlight is the courtyard and rooftop garden though. It was the middle of winter and cold and wet for our trip, but we took a look and could totally imagine how amazing it would be in summer evenings. Highly recommend this place. It was perfect for us for a business trip.

I felt very welcome at Rachel's. Very responsive and thoughtful host The house was very comfortable and and had everything I needed for a home away from home. Even catered really comfortably for my dog. Walks to the parklands were a highlight each day. Neighbours were very friendly too.

We loved our stay at Deborah’s place. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. A lovely area to stay, lots of places to eat within walking distance and the city very easy to get to.

Highly recommend this property! Spotlessly clean and all the amenities you need :) Well furnished (it looks exactly like the photos and is warm and welcoming). Vivian was really friendly and always responsive, and there were some lovely treats waiting for us on arrival. And finally it's in a great location - beautiful quiet street with a park/playgound at the end, lovely walks...but still so close to the city and some great shops!

Noah’s house was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and had great appliances, cooking was a joy here. A nice quiet spot, close to the city. We had a very pleasant stay. Everything we needed & cute and cosy. A few take away and grocery shops walking distance. A really comfortable bed, enclosed parking suited to small car. Would stay here again.

A beautifully renovated cottage that met our needs perfectly. It was a great spot to get to just north of the Adelaide parklands. The house is comfortably and tastefully furnished and very well equipped. It was so nice to find the fridge had fresh milk when I walked in after a long trip, and some treats to nibble on. Cas and David were really responsive, welcoming and helpful. Beds, quilts and pillows were comfortable and cosy. Reverse cycle heating was appreciated but the house gets afternoon sun so we enjoyed that too. We felt really at home for our 3 night stay. Thank you for having us!

We had a lovely stay at Paul’s & John’s. The house was very well stocked with amenities, everything you could need and more. The location is great and easy to access the airport, shops, cafes etc. The home was very clean and there were lots of extra blankets if needed. Perfect place for small kids as there were no breakables on display and the backyard is fully fenced.

We’ve had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb twice now, and we already can’t wait to return again! From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much care and attention to detail has gone into this home. It’s truly immaculate, spotless, beautifully styled, and incredibly welcoming. One of the standout features is the generous range of pantry and fridge supplies. It’s rare to find a place that goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home, and this one does exactly that. Every little touch has been thoughtfully considered. Our dog Charlie absolutely loved it too, it’s not always easy to find pet-friendly accommodation that also maintains such a high standard, but this one ticks every box. We felt completely at ease and so comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you again for creating such a relaxing and impressive space. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful space. Super clean and cozy all around. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was soft and warm. The couches were large and a great area for relaxing, especially with the fireplace going. It felt really private and peaceful, which made the stay even better. The heated floors in the bathroom were such a nice touch. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the space.

We had such a fantastic stay at Elegance on Elizabeth! The house is absolutely beautiful — a perfect blend of old-world charm with all the modern style and convenience you could hope for. The location is spot on, right next to lovely cafes and the railway station, making everything super easy. Carla was incredibly attentive and responsive to any questions or requests, and all the information provided was clear and helpful. Honestly, this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The weather wasn’t on our side during our visit, but that actually worked out perfectly — the house was so comfortable and well set up that we were more than happy to spend extra time inside. Awesome place to stay at, very clean, inviting and cosy. Just around the corner from some great food choices and conveniently close to a petrol station. Very secure with multiple locks and a great area for your car to be parked. The support was also very good and helpful, especially the guide provided. 100% recommend staying at this comfortable place, awesome stay.

From our very first interaction, we knew Lucy was going to be an excellent host. Always friendly and quick to reply, Lucy answered all our questions and provided local recommendations for our specific needs. The home itself (and it felt like our home for an all-too-brief time) was stunning. Two well-equipped floors, with all the equipment promised in the listing (and a few more) made this an excellent base for exploring the beautiful nearby beaches. We had two rainy days, but we actually really enjoyed a mid-holiday chill out in this remarkable property. Sunsets from one of the two balconies were memorable. Realistically, we're unlikely to actually need to use the property in the future (unless another neice decides to get married in Adelaide) but I would never rule out conjuring up a reason to visit Seacliff again, just so we could stay here. It's really that special.
