Luxurious, romantic cottage with lake view

AbinayaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Loved our stay at their lake front property, Tarn End Cottage. Beautifully furnished and clean. Hosts were very responsive and they were too kind to provide a travel cot for the little one (we didn’t even insist in having one!). Electric charging facility at their car park is functional and we loved it! Private access to the lake was a bonus 😀

Cosy Converted Barn Guestrooms

FionaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Amanda & Dick are great hosts. Really welcoming & friendly. The studio is a great space. Comfy bed. Bathroom with loads of toiletries should you have forgotten something. Facilities to make a basic meal if you need to (although I'd highly recommend the Stag Inn, the food is superb) Amanda kindly left a Help Yourself Breakfast with cereal, toast, etc which was greatly appreciated before we headed off on our bikes. We really enjoyed our overnight stay. Thanks again 😃

Sheilingmoss Luxury Farmhouse with Hot Tub

KeeleyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The property was a fantastic place to stay for our pre wedding family get together. Extremely impressed with the standard of the property. Amazing kitchen with additional utility & fridge. Great to have the billiard table and the hot tub was the piece de resistance- what a view. The property was also very accommodating when we needed a flexible checkout at short notice. Highly recommend.

Secluded Woodland Cabin in North Cumbria

MaiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely few days in our cabin! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need inside. Nice little area to sit out in with the dog as well. We brought a long line and tied it to the porch so our pup could explore round the cabin. Definitely recommend for a cosy weekend away

Lees Hill Farm Studio

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
One of the best AirBnBs I have stayed in with a very friendly and helpful host. Comfortable bed, small but workable kitchen area with everything I needed for a week's stay, and a beautiful modern and clean bathroom. The weather was good so I enjoyed the outside seating area. I was in the area for a walking holiday so enjoyed only having to drive a few miles each day to get to Hadrian's Wall, Wark Forest, Eden Valley, etc. Good food options locally. Ian even helped me with recharging my electric vehicle. I returned home well refreshed and will be returning to Ian's place, if I can, quite soon. Please don't book the week I will be wanting it!

Top Lodge - Refurbished Woodland Hideaway for Two!

GlenRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Fantastic stay from start to finish. The lodge is quirky and really well laid out. The welcome pack gives you all the info you need, along with recommendations for food & drink and places to visit. Decking area to dine al fresco, fire pit for the evening and the fantastic bath tucked away between the trees. Sitting with a glass of wine, in piping hot deep water, listening to the birdsong was bliss. Little touches mage these stays so nice.... the fire was prepped ready to light on the first night, plenty of wood for the fire and the outside bath with an honesty box to pay for the wood, means to don't have to go out hunting for fuel. The kitchen is nicely laid out to chat while your cooking. Is private enough to leave the blinds open and enjoy the views, but becomes so cosy once they're all drawn ready for the night. Only a 10-15 minute drive to large supermarkets, 30 mins from Penrith and loads of little local towns with plenty to see and do as well as the beautiful local walks.
