Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Our 2 bedroom holiday home is located in beautiful northern Herefordshire, near the border with Shropshire. We have recently fully renovated the home so you can enjoy the brand new feel! Surrounded by fields, yet close to Leominster and Ludlow and within easy reach of Hay on Wye, it is the perfect base to explore from. Discover pretty villages, walk in the hills, treasure hunt in the antique shops or just relax by the woodburner!

The Barn

In an area of outstanding natural beauty, Oaklands Barn is the perfect place for those seeking a peaceful escape. Enjoying far reaching views over the valley and the Welsh hills, the Barn lies nestled at the head of a gentle valley in the tiny hamlet of Kinton. Visit the historic market towns of Ludlow & Clun and the nearby Welsh Marches which abound in historic sites and castles. The village is a 5 minute walk with shop, petrol station, local butchers, riverside pub & parlour bar (Sun Inn)

Come and stay in Y Ffau, a gorgeous little caravan

Y Ffau is set in its own garden space with a permanent fence and an outdoor patio/seating area. Situated on the outskirts of the lovely town of Knighton, ideally placed for countryside walks and exploring Offa's Dyke and Glyndwr's Way. Only a 10 minute walk to the town centre with its cute little shops and plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Makes the perfect base for exploring the area. PLEASE NOTE there is no cooker installed. Alternatives are provided. Not suitable for children.

Station Cottage, Bucknell

Station Cottage is a recently renovated Victorian railway building. Offering cosy accommodation for up to 4 guests, it is a perfect base for walking, cycling (road and off-road) or just for enjoying being surrounded by green spaces and fresh air. Situated in the small, but thriving, village of Bucknell, it is within walking distance of an excellent pub, a petrol station and butchers. Accommodation includes a living room with woodburning stove, private kitchen and bathroom.

The Log Shed is a chic rustic barn conversion located on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border. Set in 70 acres of stunning countryside with views for miles. Kick back and relax in front of the cosy log burner, explore by foot with an abundance of walks on your doorstep or take a short drive to Ludlow and discover boutique shops, explore the historic castle and sample foodie delights at the Ludlow Farmshop. For keen walkers the famous Offa's Dyke is less than 7 miles away.

Self-catering in fab old former farmhouse 10 miles west of luscious Ludlow near Leintwardine village on meandering river Teme in north Herefordshire/south Shropshire with Wales up the lane. Gloriously pretty area, wonderful views of open farmland with hills & forests beyond. The house sleeps up to 12 guests in six double/twin/bunk rooms. (Five rooms on the first floor and the bunk bed room is on the ground floor.) HOT-TUB hire available. Rural setting but not isolated.

***We are located in England, not Wales. NOTE the staircase is very steep so young children will need to be supervised when upstairs. A cosy, rustic retreat in the heart of stunning Borders countryside. We are able to provide a contact free check-in and check-out. I live in a property adjacent, but at some distances to the property. Enjoy amazing stars at night and fresh eggs from our own hens for breakfast. Wake up to bird song and beautiful views.

Welcome to Rock Cottage. This pretty timber framed cottage sits within its own private gardens with glorious views over a secluded valley towards the quiet hamlet of Leinthall Earls. It is a great place to relax or use as a base to explore the magnificent Herefordshire countryside. Ludlow with its medieval castle and markets and Leominster with its many antique shops are both close by. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome downstairs.
