Beachfront holiday rental in Breerivier

We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

5 Stars. Highly recommended! We had an incredible stay in Voëlklip, Hermanus. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, with the mountains as a backdrop and the soothing sound of the ocean always present. It’s a perfect location for walking to the beach with the doggo's or to go for a beach activity like playing beach cricket. The home itself is ideal for families and friends who love spending time together. The kitchen and entertainment area are open and cozy, making it a joy to cook, chat, and relax. The pool table added loads of fun and really made the evenings memorable. All in all, a fantastic destination and highly recommended for anyone looking for a coastal escape with comfort, space, and natural beauty.

We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. Amazing house with great views over the ocean. Located within a stonethrow of the beach with easy access to all Hermanus has to offer. Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of crashing waves. Has every amenity you could need to make your stay comfortable and our dogs absolutely loved it too !

The cottage was very clean and as described. Leatitia was very responsive and helpful. Great location - would definitely recommend.

It is a great place with lots of kitchen equipment. Plenty of comfortable places to sit and relax with a good view of the sea. The bedrooms are comfortable and are both en-suite. The house is close to the cliff path that runs nexf to the sea all the way to down to the town centre. The path also leads to a number of swimming beaches within a 5 minute walk.

A great place to stay and a great location. Lovely walks along the cliff top, accessible to restaurants and town. The accommodation was spotless and had all we needed for our two night stay. We hope to return!

The cottage was private and plenty of outside space for our beach toys and dogs.

Our family of 5 spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house over new years. The house is in a great position in Voelklip - it is very secure and well kitted out. Lovely to sit outside in the shaded garden in the evenings and kids loved the pool. Great hosts and easy check-in and check-out. We will be back!

Chane was the host. She was absolutely great from beginning to end. The place was beautiful and spacious and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the estate was a pleasure.

We were at Villa the cherry with my wife and my 3 kids (14/12/9), the place is fabulous, we have an easy access to best activities around (houses trail, fatbike, shark cage, whales boat, natural caves, natural reserve walks) and the Villa itself is proposing the best view on the bay you will never have. For us in 6 days we have seen 50+ whales just watching from our master bedroom. It makes a big difference. And to add Annick is a tremendous host that facilitates our stay, arranging custom breakfast, and chef at the Villa. Thank you again Annick and I’m definitely recommending this place to all !

Very nice apartment with stunning views!! Everything is as advertised and more! The inverter a nice touch and helped us with a prolonged power outage. The only small niggle is to maybe have a torch or flashlight handy for cases of prolonged power outages. Even the inverter ran out and we only had power back by 19:00, after dark. The load shedding bulbs do help but a torch or light will make life much easier. Otherwise an excellent place and we enjoyed ourselves!

Di's place was ideal for a family get-together. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the town, with spectacular cliff walks in either direction. The house is well kitted out with everything you could need, and is in easy walking distance of all the restaurants, shops, galleries etc. We had a wonderful few days in Hermanus. Thanks very much.

The house has a perfect concept, is fully equipped and is beautifully located just in front of the open sea. The information before arriving is very complete and the response to questions immediate. Would love to come back for longer and can definitely recommend it! Frederic

Great location close to stunning beaches and wonderful walking trails. House was large and great for a group with all kitchen amenities. Particularly loved the indoor BBQ room which we used a lot during our stay.

Amazing location, my brother caught his PB Cob while we were in Witsand which made the trip even more special. The kids loved it. Recommended for anyone who wants to experience unspoiled nature. Cannot wait to go again.

The House was just right for our family reunion, good situation walkable distance to 2 beaches. Kids loved the swimming pool and we had a fabulous time in spite of the problems encountered. Many of the room fans didn't work. No information leaflet on how things worked, restaurants or things to do in area. Nice "Butler" to greet us but not knowledgeable how things worked. Had to ask for Wifi and on the last night no hot water upstairs.

The place was lovely and just as described. Clean, beautiful surroundings, easy and flexible check in. Janet is a great and responsive host who made us feel very welcome and offered many local recommendationsof things to see and do! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of visiting Hermanus and it's surrounding areas.

This place is in a great location, tastefully decorated, a spectacular view of the bay, and you will leave with wonderful memories. Everything you need can be found inside and it is hard not to relax and enjoy the view.

Staying in Hermanus was a wonderful experience. The house was modern, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

65 on 9th was a really nice break. Well located, short walk to Cliff path that leads to several beaches which we enjoyed walking. Also easy walk to 2 Restaurants and a garage + shop that sells great biltong, wood, meats and icecream. Rooms are spacious and each have a bathroom that is in top notch condition. Open plan living area with large kitchen and table is great for family gatherings. I would have liked some cover over the braai area (we had some rainy wheather) and few more upright chairs to sit on in that area, but otherwise there is lots of comfortable seating and also nice upper deck with sea and Mountain views. The cleaning lady is included once a week, but we were able to ask her to come in every second day which was great. Jen was proactive and informative throughout the stay checking in if everything is going well. Great stay will go again! Perry family

We spend a few days at Diana's place. communication was easy and fast. the house has lots of space, is located in a quiet neighborhood and the best part was the walk to the beach was only 2 minutes. We will definitely visit again.
