House holiday rentals in Bridgetown

Marisa’s villa is very big and spacious with a lovely private pool which was great. Marisa was really quick to respond to queries before our stay and Jason our local host was on hand whenever we needed anything. Really can’t fault the support from hosts. In particular the flexibility with check out time was great as we didn’t have to worry about where we’d need to wait until our flight, The villa itself it very spacious, airy and well equipped. The area is very nice and quiet, no issues at all. The aircon in bedrooms allowed for rooms to be nice and cool overnight and there were ample fans throughout the house. The only thing I’d mention is the worms which were present throughout house but this wasn’t the fault of host as it’s the season. It just meant we had to try clearing them everyday in the evening which was annoying but as I mentioned it’s not the host fault. All in all a great stay, we also loved watching the planes land from the front of house!

This was the peaceful, relaxing getaway we needed! The home was large enough to comfortably accommodate 7 of us. Mom, dad, and 5 kids ranging between 17-22 years old. We really enjoyed the paddleboard they included in the rental and the hammock on the patio. The private beach was perfect! The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. The water didn't get very hot in the showers. I'm not sure if that's normal for out there or if that can be adjusted. I also didn't realize there wasn't a/c throughout the house. It may have been listed in the ad and I didn't process that, but it got pretty warm, especially while cooking. We opened the windows and doors to help but that also let a lot of mosquitoes in. But doesn't matter, it was still such a great place that those things weren't a big deal to us. Ultimately, we would stay here again based on the crystal blue beach in the backyard!

Fantastic house, beautiful west facing views for sunset over the sea, really close to Fish Pot restaurant with beach and pier to swim off. The house itself is even better than the photos, and the rooms are all to a high spec with aircon and lots of space. We liked being at the quieter end of the island, it's very private and quiet. David and Chris were excellent hosts, Chris was very helpful and gave us suggestions for lunch restaurants on the beaches. Would highly recommend and stay again, thank you.

I am so glad that we chose to stay here! Everything pictured online is exactly what you see in person. The home was very welcoming, comfortable, and was in a peaceful location. The pool was great! The host Lorraine was available to answer all my questions and concerns at all times and Jan the property manager was a pleasure to deal with and available as well when we had any questions or concerns. We will definitely be going back to Barbados in the future and would for sure book with Lorraine again. Thank you so much!

Everything was as described and the place was beautiful. The beach was at the bottom of the driveway. Kirk was very responsive and made instructions as well as check-in and check-out very seamless. Will be booking again!

Ann is an exceptional host. Ann demonstrated great flexibility and responsiveness from our initial pre booking enquiries all the way through to our checking out after 13 wonderful days in Ann’s beautiful home. Upon arrival Ann took great care to explain everything we needed to know about the property, how things worked, the refuge regime, local information etc etc. As a host Ann’s overriding concern was for our enjoyment throughout our stay. Ann is in no way condescending as one previous reviewer suggested, Ann is simply a thorough, thoughtful and warm host. The property itself is truly fully equipped, very spacious, spotlessly clean and if anything is even better than the photographs suggest. The views are wonderful, the locality extremely convenient being within easy walking distance of a good sized supermarket, lovely sandy beach and very good restaurants. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Villa Sophara.

The house was simply idyllic. Spacious, well-equipped and surrounded by a lush, well-maintained garden. It is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood frequently visited by monkeys and birds. Our children could stay all day in the plunge pool. The kitchen had all kind of appliances and tools needed to prepare family meals. Air-conditioning and mosquito nets also contributed to a comfortable stay. The biggest star is undeniably Sue - a wonderful host, always full of tips and with a great sense of humour. It was great to exchange gardening experience with her. Hope her climbing roses, which she planned to plant, become another success!

Sharon's place was an absolute gem! Perfect for our needs! We loved some of the perks...beach chairs, outdoor patio, play pen for our little one, office space, and everything we needed in the kitchen. Her space was clean and well decorated and best of all, she was super responsive in her communication. Highly recommend! The a/c's were nice and quiet and strong in the bedrooms. No a/c in common areas but we kept the doors open and used the fans and it was manageable. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and quiet. Not too far from the beach or strip where you can find restaurants and shops. Would definitely return on another trip!

Spent 11 nights here with my family. Doris’ place in Rockley is fabulously located single family home in a quiet neighborhood while being a 5 minute walk to an amazing beach, shopping, restaurants and key shopping needs. The house is spotlessly clean, well stocked with everything you need and has more amenities than are in the listing. Doris is a very responsive host promptly answering all our questions before and during our stay. She also helped us coordinate airport transportation. I highly recommend this property and will absolutely stay here on a next trip to Barbados. Thank you Doris!

We loved the house, a beautiful space and it's so full of character. Marvo is a great host. We immediately felt at home. There was juice, milk, cheese and bread upon arrival, which is really a nice touch after a long travel. There is a space to park a car outside the front entrance and an electric gate. Otherwise, peaceful and quiet and conveniently located to explore the island. Definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay! Having spent 5 weeks in the area, we found the location to be convenient in terms of public transportation, access to Oistins and the beach. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. We really liked the sheltered outdoor patio and enjoyed having morning coffee and late night drinks outdoors. Harriet is an awesome host. We received quick responses to any questions we had. She left many helpful tips, suggestions and instructions in the home. We would definitely return!!

Lovely stay at Ginne’s place. Beautiful ocean views from the patio, made drinking our morning coffee enjoyable. Close distance to the beach. Easy to drive to other destinations around the island from the location. Ginne was responsive whenever we reached out and the place was spotless. We felt safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

It was such a wonderful and pleasant stay. Ama is so sweet, professional, and very accommodating. She made sure I had everything I needed to ensure I can focus on my studies for the school semester. She responds quickly and had great communication throughout my time there. The home is very well kept, clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a seamless stay. It’s located in a nice quiet neighborhood and a less than 5 minute walk to the Coverley Square which has plenty of restaurants, gym , shopping center and more for your every day leisure. The home is also conveniently located near the airport and about 15-20 minutes away from the beautiful beaches depending on which one you choose to go to. Also, if you are a Ross student or visiting one you’ll be near student housing and their amenities as well! Very peaceful stay with a great host ! Thank you Ama you’re the best !😊

These people treated us like family. The moment we arrived they met us at the property, which shows how invested they were in their property, and their guests. Place was spotless and super well appointed. Incredibly kind and good souls. They helped us find a lift to and from the airport and even had some starters for food in the fridge for us. Thoughtful and kind people. Connected with us regularly to see how our stay was going and offered many suggestions of places to visit and shop including local grocery stores which saved us from tourist inflated prices. All in all if you want to stay where someone cares about their guests and not just the money they pay, book here. Thank you both for showing us how kind Barbados people are. We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

Ramon is an amazing host. The place was a true "home away from home" as the name suggests. Clean, comfortable and safe environment. Would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely 5 stars! Paula was incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating throughout our stay. The house exceeded all expectations — spotless, beautifully decorated with modern appliances, and located in a great area with plenty of places to eat and explore. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the home felt very secure and welcoming — truly a home away from home. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Turtle Reef has been my lengthy stay in Barbados for many years. We refer to it as our home from home. The decor is totally my taste and is totally conducive to why it suits myself and my special needs daughter. John and Shirley are the perfect hosts.

Just minutes away from Alleynes Bay and several other breathtakingly clear beaches, it truly couldn’t have been more ideal. The villa itself was beautifully designed, spotless, and fully equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, offered fantastic recommendations, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The villa is situated in a modern, safe, and beautifully developed community built by some of Barbados’ finest builders. If you’re planning a trip to Barbados, don’t think twice, this is the perfect place to stay!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay! A bit of trouble locating as we arrived after dark but mostly our own fault as our phones were not working. Once we got settled everything was great! Space was very clean and Priscilla’s mom was very kind. She walked us to the beach to show us a beautiful spot. Thank you Priscilla and Lucille.

Can't say enough good things about this place! The house had everything we needed for our family of five adults to enjoy our first trip to Barbados. From the moment we checked in until the time we left, Kiana was there for us if we needed anything. The house itself is in great condition with nice bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and outdoor spaces. We cooked multiple meals in the well appointed kitchen, utilized the outdoor grill, and spent a couple of evenings enjoying good food, drinks, and music out on the veranda. The outdoor lounging areas and pool turned a very nice rental house into a fantastic getaway for our family. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located near a grocery store, the fish market, and some great restaurants. We even enjoyed hearing our rooster friend next door giving us a crow every now and then and the neighbor's cat who would come by to casually greet us when we would return home. Can't wait to stay here again!

Absolutely loved staying in this very well appointed house. It had everything we could possibly need & was in walking distance of all the lovely restaurants in Holetown & the beach.
