BARNAWARTHA ACCOMMODATION - DALKEITH CABIN

Dalkeith Cabin is situated in Barnawartha which makes a great base to explore historical Chiltern and the surrounding regions of Rutherglen, Beechworth, Yackandandah, Mt Pilot National Parkland with the snowfields of Mt Beauty 1 ½ hours away and Falls Creek 2 hours away. We are 5 minutes’ drive off the Hume Highway, and 20 minutes’ drive up the Hume to Wodonga/Albury. Come and enjoy our piece of paradise, relax on the deck after exploring our wonderful region with a glass of our regions wine.

You’ll love the Lodge which offers the unique experience of an authentic, hand-crafted log cabin. The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

More than just a place to stay — Mittagong Talia is a 54-acre secluded bush escape beside Reedy Creek in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park 30mins from Beechworth, designed to help you switch off and unwind. Pete's Alpine Studio 3

Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

Farm Stay: Cottage 1 @ Glenbosch Wine Estate

Need a time away from everyday life with your significant other, just to relax & reconnect? Book one of our self catering eco-cottages on the farm. Peace promised with 50+ meters between cottages. Our cottages are self contained with hot tubs for the cold days, or use for cold plunge to cool off. Policy of no children allowed is in place. This is an adults retreat. Cellar Door on site open Wednesday to Saturdays.
