Boat holiday rentals in British Isles

Let yourself be lulled by the enchanting calm of the sea air. Small, well-ordered, cozy space. Of course, you have to move a little on the pontoon to access the toilets (always clean and accessible only to sailors) or go to the captaincy to shower, but it is a choice and it is done very well. I slept really well.

Our family of 3 loved staying in the houseboat. It was a great hideaway in the middle of the city. The boat was even larger than we expected and very comfortable.

Maarten was a lovely host. The living accommodation was exactly as described and shown in the pictures and surprisingly spacious even for my giant husband. It was a short flat easy walk to the historic centre even with little legs in tow. breakfast was yummy with a special treat for my son who was very pleased that Maarten bought him a doughnut. communication was prompt and in perfect English

Very nice boat both outside and inside, ideally moored in the immediate vicinity of essential amenities and free parking. It is very comfortable and well-equipped, nothing was missing. Rose is a particularly charming host, very welcoming and attentive. Her words, rich in local history including family history in line with the decoration and the documents she leaves us at our disposal are a great introduction to discovering Cherbourg and the surrounding area. To conclude: everything was perfect and as described!

In addition to being a passionate person with lots of interesting life stories, he is very welcoming, friendly and cares about the well-being of his guests. The boat trip is not to be missed, a moment of pure serenity and relaxation. Great introduction to the world of boats through Erwin's experience and knowledge. Lovely unique place to stay. The stove kept the boat cozy even on a stormy night. Ger was very responsive to anything we needed. Fun exploring the canal and easy to get to site near. Groceries and restaurants walkable as well.

We had a great time, a first for us. Catherine and Mikael are very attentive hosts, always available for our needs. The breakfast is hearty, it's very pleasant to get up and see fresh bread and pastries with fruit and yogurt. We recommend it and will be back with pleasure. Thank you Catherine and Mikael

Helena's time was just wonderful! Helena is a very attentive, friendly host and the breakfast is excellent! The boat is cozy, very clean and offers all the comfort you could wish for. The area is fantastic, it's quiet, and you can spend a lot of time in nature and enjoy the magnificent views. In the vicinity you can rent bikes and explore the water with SUPs. We highly recommend Helena's boat and will be happy to come back! Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful time we was met by glen who was the perfect gentleman couldn’t have been more approachable and kind,made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much to make sure we had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Emma has a Beautiful boat and has gone to extreme lengths to ensure everything is to hand that you could possibly need to have an amazing stay.

Great experience! Something different than different. Clear explanation from Claire and instructions. The boat looked cozy and we cooked deliciously and sat outside with our wine. Everything works well. Bed is not for tall people, but it was lovely and nice and warm. Recommended.

We had so much fun exploring Cambridge and Ely from the boat. It is a fantastic way to get to explore the area and have an adventure at the same time. The boat is lovely and was easy enough to navigate after getting a lesson from Gary. We would love to do it again and highly recommend!

I met Gareth earlier to pick up the keys. I returned later that evening and had a fantastic evening, cooked myself some dinner and watched one of the DVD’s. This really is one of my favourite stays. If you’re looking for a boring hotel room then don’t stay here. If you’re looking for a fantastic cozy getaway then I would recommend this little Gem. Fantastic host and communication. Boat life is certainly for me.

We had a brilliant night on the river on the canal boat. Little Venice was amazing and such a unique experience. The boat was very cosy with a very comfortable bed. Thomas was very helpful and answered all our questions quickly. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Ted’s boat is a great option if you’re looking for a unique stay in London! The location was very convenient and waking up to the sounds of the surrounding wildlife was really special.

Excellent neighborhood and location and very easy public transport to all the things we wanted to do in London. Children loved the boat and very to close to restaurant options around Kew Green. Had such a lovely time!

We had a brilliant stay here, my 4 and 6 year old loved it, and we had a great time as a family, and then it was cost as a couple in the living space in the evening. Spotlessly clean and lovely extras like asking which toys and books for the kids. Amazing communication. Super convenient location for chelmsford, Colchester, Maldon, Hylands park.

We stayed for the weekend, its a walk away from london stadium, lively bars also a walk away. Where the boat is is so quiet and calm we really did enjoy the best of both worlds. Harrys boat was so cosy, and spacious. Harry was also increadible with replying and helping if we needed anything. 10/10 reccomend.
