A cosy, clean and comfortable stay, where everything has been so carefully considered to make for a really enjoyable and relaxed visit with some very welcome aspects of luxury. The bathroom is outstanding, the kitchen superbly equipped and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The outside space is a bonus!

Luxury Studio-incredible view-peaceful getaway

LouiseRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Can highly recommend a stay at Roberta's lovely property, it has everything needed for a few days away. Peaceful with great views & garden to enjoy. The studio is beautifully done, with very comfy large bed & chairs for relaxing in. Bonus of proper large bath towels! The few breakfast bits, water & fresh milk were very welcome. Good instructions on how to use everything & helpful details on the area etc. Also had a cooling unit which was very needed in the warm weather, as whilst all the glass gives wonderful views, it is also makes it very warm. Got some wonderful strawberries for breakfast from the local run village shop. Did not need to ask Roberta for anything but felt from communication beforehand that nothing would have been too much trouble.

Charming annexe B&B in Mark Cross, East Sussex

Lol & GillRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Positioned at the end of a private road away from the main road. This is a lovely and private space. Lovely property. Responsive and helpful owner. Clear instructions received. The property itself was homely, clean and furnished with everything you could possibly need and more. Exceptional welcoming gifts including fresh fruit, cereal, bread, butter, fresh orange. There was even an 'honesty pot' with Whisky, Gin and (tonic in the fridge) available. Table and chairs available to the front of the property overlooking the homeowners garden. Perfect for relaxing after work or during the day on a short break. In my opinion, better than a hotel. Your vehicle is also safely gated on the property during your stay. I used the property as a base for my work away from home, but could definitely see myself returning here with my wife for a short break or weekend away exploring the area. The property has a true home from home feel. I would definitely return. Thank you.

Just stayed one night, on arrival Tracey had left milk, water and homemade cookies. The room was spotless. The shower was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. We walked around the garden and orangery, both were beautiful. We met Tracey and she was lovely. Would deffo recommend and will be returning.

Cowford Oast

This cottage far exceeded our expectations in every way! Dianne was the perfect host and we were surprised and delighted by the very generous basket of quality goodies including freshly baked bread, eggs from her chickens, milk, wine, muesli, locally produced apple juice, coffee pods and yummy snacks. The cottage was larger than we expected and beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. And the garden......just stunning! A peaceful paradise particularly as we were fortunate enough to stay in spring, when the wisteria and blossoms filled the aur with perfume. The bed deserves special mention as the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Thanks Dianne and Alistair

The Games Room

We had a lovely weekend. The view is really beautiful which makes it very hard to leave the balcony! The studio is also very comfortable and has everything you could need while staring out the huge windows. We also enjoyed being able to go for local walks and to the Mayfield pubs. A really great place in a beautiful spot.
