If you have children, there are lots of exciting things to explore in the shore. Nice and quiet neighbors, and no traffic noise. There is a great fishing lake nearby where it is possible to rent a boat and buy a fishing license. It is about 11 km to the center of Brønnøysund, it is 500 meters to the ferry that goes to Vega and Forvik/Tjøtta
