We had a lovely, long weekend stay at Chert cottage. Great Longstone is an excellent location, with several pubs within walking distance. Beautiful scenery is on the doorstep, with places like Bakewell and Buxton a short drive away. Sarah was an excellent host - she was very responsive and we really appreciated the cake, milk and flowers on arrival. Chert cottage itself was great - very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need - we particularly loved sitting out in the garden in the evening! Many thanks Sarah, we had a great time.

What a lovely cottage! The views were spectacular! My daughters and I took many pictures of the countryside and of the adorable sheep grazing nearby. The cottage was perfect for resting up and refreshing between our trips to the Chatsworth House and Gardens. We had such a lovely stay here, the place was private, well presented, neat and tidy. It had everything we needed and was a comfortable home away from home. The little town was also very nice and a short walk to a small village shop and pub. Alison was very friendly and welcoming. Would defnitely stay again if we come back to England.

The house was beautiful, and if possible exceeded our expectations. We were blessed with weather much better than that predicted, and were therefore able to take advantage of the close proximity of the property to Bakewell town, the Monsal Trail and enjoy the views from the patio at the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Booked this trip last minute and was not disappointed with our choice, the instructions for parking and how to find the cottage was spot on. Less then a couple minutes walk and you’re at all the coffee shops and pubs with a short drive to other villages and all the famous walks.

This cottage stay was a dream! We loved walking around the village and eating at the local pubs and cafe. We also made use of the kitchen to prepare meals and loved eating in the garden. The beds are very comfortable, the entire space all together cozy. The village is about a 25-30 minute walk into Bakewell and a 10 minute drive to Chatsworth house. Highly recommended booking here!

One of the best air b and b’s I have stayed at. Angela was super responsive and goes out of her way to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. My highlights: 1) amazingly comfy beds with clean crisp sheets 2) great shower with lovely Molton Brown toiletries 3) useful recommendations for local restaurants, walks etc 4) thoughtful welcome basket with orange juice, croissant, cup cake, biscuit, beer and tea and coffee. The property and the location was absolutely amazing , me and my friends have made some amazing memories there. The property felt luxurious and there were soo many personalised gifts for us upon arrival which were much appreciated. the host was very responsive whenever we had any questions I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a country escape and I know I want to go back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Fabulous place - we stayed for a week - with 2 teenagers, a preteen and our dog - great field opposite to run the dog morning and evening. Plenty of beautiful walks straight from the front door. 45 minutes to nearest place to eat out. Facilities were great - lots of swimming and football played by our kids. Thanks for a great stay.

Loved our stay, very accommodating, very quiet and cosy. Easy to find and a lovely pub nearby for food. Sadly couldn’t use the pool due to having the dog with us but looked great! Very reasonably priced and nice little farm shop on site. A lovely stay! Also brilliant communication. Thanks

We had a lovely stay at Hartle. Great cottage and good facilities. Access to the pool and sauna was a bonus. Good parking. Had chargers but didn’t need to use. Well located. Allowed our dog - bonus. Definitely recommend.

Super stay and so convenient for the Peak District, friendly place and nice food and beer at the Norfolk Arms over the road. Very clean, and welcoming. Thoughtful things in the kitchen. I would love to stay again - it's a special building with wonderful history, and a friendly and welcoming vibe.

Lovely and very responsive host, great communication, which made checking in very easy. We stayed one night, it was exactly what we needed! Parking around the corner was suitable and the flat was easy to find. Definitely recommend.

The check in was really smooth with the option for parking as well proved really easy and accessible especially in the city centre. The apartment was really clean had fantastic views sat on the 8th floor and is a great location for any business or leisurely visits within Sheffield, would highly recommend to anyone! Kenny was great throughout helped with any queries and a quality host, look forward to returning

A beautiful well maintained cottage for two. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Rosie popped in to introduce herself and deliver a bottle of wine, crisps and chocolate which was lovely as we only had a two night stay! We would certainly book again if we were in the area.

Amazing location - everywhere we wanted to explore just 5-10 minute walk away - love the area, full of life but quiet to sleep at night. Really light flat, comfortable bed and very clean. Would stay again!
