“The island is simply amazing. We stayed there just for the two of us. Communication was great from the beginning. Alfred picked us up in El Nido and we had a super relaxed ride. Boat trip to the island was also really cool and easy. Arriving at the island we really were overwhelmed. Beautiful beach, blue water, giant house and cozy little corners everywhere where you can relax and spend some easy time. The staff was almost invisible but when we needed them we could ask for everything. Food was great, too! 3 different things at a time and nothing we missed. And it was really tasty! (And they even bought Chardonnay for us because I mentioned it in advance.) If you think about the money - forget it. It is totally worth it. Even if you are just 2 persons. Go there and enjoy!”
Welcome To Isla! Get off the tourist track, join us in paradise. Wake up to the sound of rolling waves and unwind in the beautiful lush scenery of Daracotan Island, on our own private beach. Spend your days relaxing on our white sands, exploring the island or snorkelling through the tropical reefs and a nearby shipwreck. Each evening, feast our on delicious fresh food prepared by our local chef. Once the sun has gone down head to the beach for a bonfire and some games with The Isla Family.
“What a memorable experience.... Despite the 37 random insect bites on my back, we love the following: 1) Darkness (there's only 4 light bulbs powering our dinner) it's AMAZING. 2) Toilet in the dark ( lighting is over-rated) 3) sand-crumbled oil-stained feet, (hygiene is over-rated) 4) sandy bedsheets, (see above) 5) warm/ cold nights fighting flimsy mosquito nets with torch in the mouth ( see above) 6) tomato rice with coke-stewed chicken, sprite-cooked veges, BBQ tuna (its always surprising the variations given the limitations) 7) privately charter boat rides 8) swimming around/ walking towards shipwreck ( it's so near to the cabins ..) 9) learning how to be a fire- show performer 10) Limbo with sand flies 11) communal eating with friends and amazing fresh food 12) pigs 13) goats 14) boat rowing empowerment exercise 15) Singing Karaoke under torch light and starry night ... The list goes on. If you travel to get lost... and be found through adventures, you've come to the right spot. If you travel to know yourself a little better, to discover humanity, this is the place.”

“Great place to stay away from the hustle of El Nido town. Newer Cabana about 300m to Duli Beach proper. It’s not right on the beach but a short walk or motorcycle ride to get there. The cabana is rustic and ran on solar. There is a mosquito net over the bed and a fan. There is also a bucket shower for bathing. No WiFi but if you buy a “Smart” brand SIM card with data in town you can stay connected. It’s a remote spot, which was perfect for us, so your dining options are limited unless you have transportation. There is one restaurant/Bar next door ran by a super friendly guy named Dan. The family will also cook for you if you let them know ahead of time. The best way to visit this area is to rent a motorcycle in El Nido and ride about 45 minutes to Duli Beach. With a motorcycle you can explore the area and drive into Bucana to get food, purified water, etc. We found a great little store ran by a guy named Tony that sold baked goods and bananas on the left just before the concrete suspension bridge in Bucana. I recommend this place if you’re into cheap baked goods for breakfast and snacks. If you’re not into renting a motorcycle the host can arrange a tricycle to pick you up in town. All in all it’s a good rustic stay in a beautiful area close to an amazing beach.”
