Cabin holiday rentals in Brown County

We had a great time and the house was wonderful! The house has everything you need to cook and we enjoyed dinner at the cabin most nights. The house is only a few minutes to multiple restaurants and shops! The house was large and more than enough space for our family! The kids loved the creek and mom and dad enjoyed the hot tub!

Samuel was very responsive, gave us an early check-in, and great recommendations for places to eat. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, we enjoyed the fire pit and watching all of the wildlife. Sheets were super soft, and there was an abundance of towels!! Kitchen was fully stocked. My only complaint, if any, was having to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedrooms. Makes it harder to get through the house, but a minor inconvenience to enjoy the property. Thanks for the stay!!

We were looking for a place last minute for my mom and I to stay while we attended my uncle's funeral. we did not have any idea what nashville was we just saw it was close to columbus and had a hot tub. let me just tell you how amazing Angela and her cabin was.... we booked at 10:30 pm the night before. I know, I know. like ordering a well done Ribeye 5 minutes before close. Angela took it upon herself to make sure the house was clean despite thinking she had no renters for a few days and the last guest checking out that morning. the cabin was so cozy and peaceful. in such a stressful and emotional time it was our calming place. mom absolutely loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek. Angela was so amazing would definitely stay there again. and probably will. thanks Angela for going above and beyond in a high stress moment.

Peaceful, serene spot. Saw a deer just a few feet from the porch. Be aware no cell signal, but Wi-Fi is good and fast. Host is responsive to all inquiries, would recommend!

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

A really cozy cabin! My mom and I loved the space and felt very comfortable during our stay. I must mention that there are no anti slip grips on the tub, so be careful in the shower! I also wish there was a little less grit in the bottom of the hot tub, but I understand that can’t always be helped and all other aspects were clean. Overall: wow. We got to spend time in the hot tub, listened for birds on the porch, and enjoyed our short drive to Nashville for shopping and good eats! (Hard Truth Distilling and Ferguson House were faves.) The place was clean and well organized.

The house and location were exactly as described. It was clean, homey, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was very comfortable and clean! The cabin was adorable, hot tub was squeaky clean, and the little gift basket was just an added bonus! Would recommend!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s in a peaceful location where you can just sit on the front porch with no worries. Eric was an absolutely amazing host. There was lots of things to do such as games upstairs and outside there’s a fire pit. Eric thought of everything. The property was absolutely gorgeous and huge. The property is secluded, so if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this cabin is it.

Cozy cottage with all the amenities you need. Hot tub under the full moon was so relaxing! Eric was a gracious host.

This place was exactly what we were hoping for! This is the perfect, charming cabin for a gateway. We loved getting out in nature, sitting on the porches, and enjoying the serene countryside. We will be back!

We love to stay at the cabin when we’re in Brown County. It’s peaceful and secluded while still close to Nashville and other sites. I super appreciate being able to take our little dogs, and we joke about the dogs thinking it’s our vacation house since they’ve been there enough times to feel comfortable right away.

We loved our stay and will be staying here again!

Amazing stay in the woods with Eric, would 10/10 recommend

The Acre Ridge Cabin did not disappoint! We were looking for quiet and seclusion…We found it! Seldom did we hear any noise from passing cars or neighbors. We spent time exploring the woods and the little guy loved playing in the small creek. Everyone enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. We also prepared and ate every meal except one in the well-appointed kitchen. The “Happy Jar Salsa” and taco chips were a tasty surprise! There were no kitchen gadgets that we were without (there was even an ice cream scoop). The beds were comfortable! We enjoyed reading books in the solarium and listening to the rain. We appreciated the firewood being delivered in advance of our visit. Sitting around the campfire telling ghost stories on Friday the 13th was spooky but fun. The supplies you provided to make s’mores came in handy. Thanks for offering us the extra night. Even with that we were not ready to leave. All in all, quite pleasurable. We would return when another quiet trip to the woods is needed.

The home was exactly as described. With its beautiful setting, cleanliness and all the well laid out amenities we enjoyed all that it had to offer. It felt like arriving to your own vacation home. We enjoyed the outside fire pit, hot tub, pool table, air hockey, foosball and the ability to wonder the landscape. The privacy was spot-on. You felt as if you were completely secluded from all noise and neighbors. Nashville is a short, scenic drive. During our stay we dined at Big Woods pizza and Hard Truth distillery, both enjoyable and liked by all 9 of our group. Our trip was for the IU graduation weekend. The drive to and from Bloomington was easy and under 40 min. This is a must stay for a trip to Nashville or Bloomington.

This cabin was absolutely amazing! So secluded and set back off the road. Our kids loved all the activities especially the pond and fishing poles. HIGHLY recommend Marisa’s cabin. Marisa was a great host! She truly thought of everything!

This was a great place for our group of guys to stay. They had charging ports all throughout the house, which came in handy. They Wi-Fi worked with no issues and was good enough for us to stream to their tv from our devices. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The only constructive feedback I would give would be to add a shower wand to the downstairs bathroom. I'm 6'4" and the shower head height was only around 5'8" and pointed straight down. The pool table was a bit small, but playable. I would lose the foosball and upgrade to an 8-foot table. Also, I'm guessing guests lose them, but it would be nice if the foosball table had the correct type of ball instead of just using ping pong balls. This was a great cabin, with huge decks, a hot tub and beautiful views. We loved every minute of it and would definitely book again in the future. EXCELLENT PROPERTY!

My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. This beautiful place and area is amazing! We loved everything about our stay. My husband caught a few fish, we hiked one of the trails and enjoyed the hot tub as well. We loved it so much here that we didn't want to leave. We plan on coming back again for sure! Also, Marisa is an amazing host...Thank you!

Just the kind of place my daughters and myself were looking for! We are lovers of nature and all the beauty it brings to our lives, mentally and spiritually. We hope to be back soon. I just can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed it!

The house and property was amazing and I’d definitely come back. Loved that there was a pond, the ability to fish, walk thru the woods, have a fire, and just sit out on the porch enjoying nature. It was exceptionally convenient that you could use their fishing gear and grill. We stayed all week without needing to go out. Also, the host was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful. The only thing I’ll say—make sure you are prepared for tick if you plan to spend any time outdoors. This isn’t a complaint or the fault of the host—just a reminder to be prepared. (Being a city girl, I didn’t think about this…I assume most people would! 🙂)

The cabin was amazing! Very spacious, clean, beautiful, and lots of activities to do within the property. I can’t wait to go back!
