Rose Cottage(dog friendly) - West Fallodon

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Rose cottage with our children and dog, and we thought this was excellent value for a week during the school half-term holidays. The cottage is homely and very well equipped -kitchen utensils, crockery, pans etc all good quality, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding was all crisp white, new pillows and white towels. The bathroom is clean and white and has an electric power shower. The fenced garden is a lovely sheltered sun trap with plenty of seating (comfy chairs as well as the picnic table in listing photos) with a nicely maintained lawn. Jamie was an excellent host, friendly and approachable, gave us some excellent tips including Embers pizza in Embleton. The welcome package was perfect- including delicious fresh bread from the Embleton village farm shop. Worth noting the cottage is one of three- this would be perfect for multiple families travelling together but each wanting their own space.

Cloggy Nook, Tughall Steads, Beadnell

SusanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Cloggy Nook is the most wonderful, beautifully appointed, comfortable and luxurious airbnb set in lovely countryside with numerous fantastic places to visit nearby. The beds and bed linen were high quality as were all the fixtures and fittings throughout. The garden area was much appreciated where we enjoyed numerous games of Corn Hole overlooking the beautiful landscape. Many thanks to June for the marvellous stay at this top notch property in beautiful Northumberland and the wonderful, generous welcome pack.

Driftwood Cottage Coastal Escape

BeverleyRating, 5 starstoday
A beautiful cottage in a stunning and peaceful location. There were glorious views at both the front and back of the cottage. The fabulous garden was an added bonus. We were lucky to have very nice weather so we were out walking every day. Although we were surrounded by fields it was only a short walk to the beach so we had the best of both worlds. We had a relaxing retreat at the end of the day and could choose to have an invigorating shower or a soak in a very large bath. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. We didn’t need to use the log fire but it would be a very cozy addition on cooler evenings. The sun room at the front of the property is a great space to enjoy a coffee and relax.

The View: idyllic and remote off-grid cabin

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really lovely place and so unique. Location is perfect and so private. Facilities are good considering they are basic and the shower was great. Very clean. Could do with a fresh lick of paint but overall an amazing stay, we already want to rebook.

Cottage by beach, golf & castle

WillowRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nicky's coastal cottage strikes the perfect balance between cosy and contemporary, tastefully furnished and oozing rustic charm - we felt right at home in the quaint pad by the beach. Flooding the cottage with natural light, the windows provided a fresh and open feel whilst offering stunning views of the rolling fields and Dustanburgh castle perched on the cliffside. Only a 3 minute walk to the beach, having the coast on our doorstep was such a treat which we took full advantage of with stunning strolls in both directions. Retiring to the sparklingly clean kitchen after our days of exploring the beautiful area, we spent our evenings cooking and playing card games around the table - a perfect way to unwind and relax after a day of roaming the sand dunes. As coffee drinkers we made full use of both the Moka pot and Cafetière, spending our mornings sipping coffee in the secluded, sun trap garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage, Nicky's hosting was spectacular!

Tranquil stone cottage in Rock conservation area

JakeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage in Rock. The place was spotlessly clean and clearly very well cared for, making it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The host was excellent—responsive, friendly, and great at communicating throughout the booking and stay. It made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The location is peaceful and perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Would love to return in the future!

4 bedroom coastal cottage with walled garden

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage in a truly lovely, beautifully-located village. The extra double bedroom in a well-furbished and kitted-out 'hut' across the sweet little garden worked well as a 'grandparents retreat', although it was a little 'tight'.
