Pheasant’s Rest, cosy hideaway, dog friendly

Our caravan, disguised as a cosy cabin, nestles to the side of our garden and has been totally restyled. Self check-in and a private entrance makes it easy to social distance, with footpaths and woodland all around there is an abundance of open space. In addition to following the enhance cleaning and sanitisation protocol, we are also keeping a 1 day window before and after each booking. Secluded, dog friendly and situated in walking distance of Bucks Mills beach and the South West Coast Path.

It is located in Woolfardisworthy (commonly called Woolsery). The Michelin Guide listed and very popular Farmers Arms pub, post office/grocery and fish & chip shop are conveniently down the street. our second trip to this site , as perfect for our children who love the amenities. Nice caravan a good part of the site , with sea view and no other caravans too close by. As with most caravans , the kids rooms are tiny , so not much room for bags , but a good size double room. Easy access to Bude and Westward Ho ! for beach trips.

We had an excellent time on this break! The listing matched the property, was perfectly clean, well equiped, extremely peaceful with lots of glorious walks both from the property and very close by. We were a family of 4 including two 14 year olds. They loved it here as much as we did. We would defintely come again.

Raleigh cottage was wonderful - it’s a beautifully restored, well equipped thatched cottage surrounded by lush green woodland in rural north Devon. The setting was so tranquil that we stayed in at cottage a lot of the time instead of venturing out. In fact the setting was so picturesque and quiet we decided to stay an extra night! Myles and Sarah are delightful hosts, so helpful with great recommendations for local restaurants and sights for when we decided to explore. We can’t wait to come back to stay there again!
