Enjoyed our stay.

We were warned about noise from the bar. We barely heard any. Definitely was not even close to disturbing sleep. Now the trains on the other hand were a slight bit more of an issue but only in the front bedroom. As it passes, we would wake but then fall right back to sleep.

Logan was a wonderful host, very responsive. I didn’t realize prior to arrival that the unit was only one section of the house and our unit was in the back of the house, but we still had some views of the water and it was peaceful. Appreciate Logan allowing us flexibility for our arrival and departure times- it really allowed us to maximize our time! We were also able to see the rest of the house and it is beautiful! Likely will be back with more family.

The place was super cute and accommodating! They provided clear instructions and the place was super easy to find and had a great view of the river. The apartment was beautiful and had so much space. Their response time was fantastic and had no issues with our stay at all. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

River Road Lodge was a wonderful place to stay—clean, comfortable, and peaceful. The location is ideal, with plenty of great local bars and restaurants just a short distance away. We had no trouble finding the property, and everything about our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My mom and I took a girls trip to Wabasha and stayed here, we absolutely loved it! The location can’t be beat, you can walk to many shops and restaurants and you’re basically in the backyard of the Eagle Center. There’s an amazing deck overlooking the river where we saw many eagles. Everything was clean and cute and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the spacious house and beautiful views along the river. Lots of activity to see. Did some fishing right off the deck. Bedrooms were private with own bathroom. Great for each family. Huge kitchen area for group gatherings. Great place!

My fiancé and I had our engagement party with our friends here, we rented the entire home. The location and home itself was beautiful and right on the river. Logan was a very proactive and responsive host! We were impressed with the quality of the home as well as the amenities! Would recommend for a getaway weekend for a large or small group!

We had a great weekend with friends! The location of this cabin could not be beat- it is easy to find, not too far out of town, and the view is absolutely amazing! The deck is a wonderful place to relax for dinner and the cabin was perfect for our needs, including a baby. Would stay again!

My family and I really enjoyed Wabasha. Slippery’s had great food and the National Eagle Center was really great! Things close early making the town very peaceful after 9:00pm…perfect time to sit on the dock and put your feet in the water. Beth’s home was beautiful and the craftsmanship of all the updates were outstanding. It had everything we needed and plenty of space. Also, the AC worked really well given we hit record heat warnings during our stay.

The Great River Retreat is truly a retreat, with a beautiful view, fun house to stay in. It’s a gem, along the mighty Mississippi River.

I went to Highschool in this area and know very well how beautiful River road Hwy 35 is. Fountain City has always been my favorite along the route, and this residence is a nice spot to take it all in.

We rented Mark's place as 1 of 5 Airbnbs for friends & families coming in for a wedding. They understood & helped out when dates & number of family members were needing to be adjusted. That was truly appreciated as it helped to lessen the stress. Great hosts, a beautiful & comfortable place and a really nice location!
