The 🌳Tree House🌳 sits in the branches of a mighty avocado tree. It is located just above the shore of Lake Ruhondo in Rwanda's beautiful Twin Lakes and Volcanoes Region. It is fully equipped with an ensuite bath room, including a warm shower with a view. The outside deck offers a seating area with spectacular views to the lake and the volcanoes. It also has a coffee and tea station. The Tree House is great for travellers who seek an extraordinary accomodation in the midst of nature.

Take a break at this unique and scenic cottage. Settled amidst beautifully preserved eucalyptus trees, you will find an inviting cottage overlooking lake Burera. The cottage is composed of a large double bedroom, a lounge (that can be used as a second room), an en suite, an outside shower and a separate lounge/bar gazebo with a fully functioning kitchen. Ruhondo Campsite View

My campground is nestled on the shores of Lake Ruhondo. Here, you will enjoy stunning views of the lake and its islands, and of the majestic Muhavura volcano, all in a very peaceful setting. Numerous walks around and on the lake. Various services on request: cooking, guide, shopping, laundry, water (which must be fetched from the spring if necessary). The campsite is 30 minutes by motorbike from the Musanze bus station, and there are many connections via the lake!

Eric's Countryside Haven

This new (2023) home is purpose-built for giving adventurers a safe haven. It's in a village just seven miles from Volcanoes National Park which features 60 mi² of rainforest, rare mountain gorillas, and five of the eight volcanoes in the Virunga Mountains. It's also three miles from Musanze City and ten miles from Kisoro, Uganda so while it offers a slice of village life and easy access to the Park, the cities are a short cab ride away.

This place is called Kara Pond. It is situated near the Mukungwa River, on the road from Kigali to Musanze, about four kilometers from the city center. Kara Pond is a very quiet place surrounded by lots of nature, with numerous birds, a fish pond and beautiful plants. It looks like a small forest area – a unique oasis in the immediate vicinity of the Mukungwa River.
