Waterfront holiday rentals in Burrum Heads

Beautiful spot - great location: pedestrian access to the path that follows the ocean, home was clean, tidy and intuitively furnished, and the hosts were clear and pleasant in communication.

We were certainly not disappointed with our stay. The property was exactly as described, very comfortable, clean and in a great location. We love walking and did three 10km walks along the esplanade. There is secure underground parking and a nice pool. I have no hesitation in recommending Helen’s property and would certainly return if we were coming up to Hervey Bay again.

This was a great place to stay for a long stay as we had everything we needed to feel at home. It was wonderful to be able to cook and have what we needed. We loved the locality and being to walk to grab a coffee and do beach walks every morning and arvo. Thank you for a great stay.

The house is really luxurious and clean, however the best part is that the beach is directly across the road! We went to the beach every morning and afternoon and went back to the house in between for lunch and it was perfect. It’s walking distance to the pier, and a short drive to the esplanade shops. The outdoor shower and tap was very helpful. We were a group of 6 and it comfortably fit all of us and two cars. Would be a very great house for families with children as there is a small play space provided. Our stay was enjoyable and we all said we’d return again!

We had to make a last minute booking when we arrived in Hervey Bay as our booked accommodation had cancelled at the last minute. Michael very kindly booked us in, and his place was a great find. Across the road from the beach, close to the bus stop, and places to eat. He provided beach chairs and umbrella, bikes to get around and even a fishing rod, although it was too wet and windy to try them out. But there was a good collection of books and games to see use through. Being a ground floor unit was perfect for us, and it had everything we needed. We never had an issue parking our car out the front on the street.

It's a must do it experience! Me and my wife spent 2 night here, it was our 25th marriage anniversary! The place was absolutely fantastic! Sleeping with the sound of ocean waves, with singing birds in a very Indonesian style... Perfect location for "Lady Musgrave Experience " and Bundaberg Brew tasting. Vicky offer us a lot of pleasant surprises!! Hope come back again!

We had a wonderful stay in Kelly's unit. The location is unbeatable, right opposite the beach, making it perfect for our beach days. The unit was well-equipped with everything my son and I needed, truly making it feel like a home away from home. I especially loved the pool – a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. The nearby cafes in both directions were fantastic, offering plenty of options for coffee and delicious meals. I also really appreciated the early check-in and the prompt action when I had an issue. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Torquay!

This place is truly perfect if your looking for lots of space for your family or friends to have their own areas, let alone the views to be enjoyed from any seat in the living areas. The kitchen was large enough for multiple cooks to be in there at once. The outdoor area, which could be enclosed or open, was perfect as we had a mixture of weather during our stay. There is not much choice in Elliott Heads but we knew that and catered accordingly. Coffee was really good up at Driftwood Kiosk. We would bring our bikes next time as the family are keen to return.

Had a wonderful stay! Loved the house was beautifully presented and had a really relaxing feel to it especially the fairy lights at night. Awesome location right across from the beach. Will definitely stay again.

Very relaxing weekend. Quiet neighbourhood and the beach wasn’t even a minutes walk. Bed very comfortable and plenty of kitchen utensils and very decent shower pressure. Loved the pizza oven and plenty of equipment to prep your pizzas. Convenience store was an easy walk or a short drive and restaurant 5 min drive. Would defiantly book again! We chose Joanne's property specifically for the location as it was close to family and we enjoyed our stay alot. The property is quirky, the views spectacular and the location peaceful. Unfortunately the weather gods were not on our side the weekend we stayed which did prove challenging, given some of the properties features. Those who stayed in the granny flat had an experience which was more like glamping. There is no way to enter the separate container, and the bathroom which is in a shed close by, without being fully exposed to the weather. Which meant dark, wet walks, across sodden grass. Whilst we were fulky aware of this setup when we booked it did impact our stay and is mentioning. The weather aside, we would definitely choose to stay again, in the hopes for finer weather. We would love to be able to fully enjoy the wonderful outdoor areas this property offers!

Family friendly apartment. We loved the location. So much to do and the little bonuses of games, tennis racquets, pool noodles and body board were a hit with my kids. Never been to Hervey Bay before and we will definitely be back. The beach was amazing and great for kids. Walked the sand banks and saw so much wildlife on land and in the water. Highly recommend staying here.

The apartment is great with the amazing location with overview over the pier. Is definitely the place that I’ll be coming back . Recommend to anyone that’s travelling in Harvey Bay
