Family-friendly holiday rentals in Burwood Council

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property, which no photo does justice to just how stunning the view of the water is from not one but two decks. A two minute walk to wonderful shopping outlets, cafe’s, dog parks, gyms, salons, everything you need. The host is highly responsive, fair and accommodating. The quiet leafy neighbourhood filled with frangipani’s next to the water is beautiful, with a private area to have a sunny cool spa outdoors or a warm spa of an evening. The bbq placed right where you can see the water is a lovely touch for cooking outdoors with a view. I had everything I needed the moment I arrived which makes life so much easier. I can’t thank the host enough for my stay. This place is truly a gem. Thank you so much!

Stayed for a week for a conference with my toddler and parents in tow. Great location, easy check in, good communication, well equipped.

Superb apartment in a very convenient location - close to shops and transport links. Easy to get into Sidney centre. Balmain is a delightful suburb full of interesting shops and facilities. Yes there are steps but so worth the views across the city. Thoroughly recommend and would happily return.

Coco’s place was perfect, great location and everything we needed for a Sydney city stay. The apartment has everything we needed which made or stay super easy. Coco met us and checked us in and is a fantastic host.

My husband and came up for a concert, Susy’s BnB was easy to find safe to leave our car and was awesome to stay in. Will come again for sure!

Eva is the perfect host. The Pool Annexe was so comfy and easy. Unfortunately we didn't use the pool due to the rain. Eva was most accommodating with our 2 small dogs. The garden area for them was so appreciated. Check in was a breeze, parking was easy. Close to shops and the train was so convenient. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Eva anytime. Really enjoyed staying at the house - view of the bridge is spectacular. We went to two shows at the Opera House and hit the Galleries ... we were able to walk everywhere which was great. Suzanna was great giving us lot's of local recommendations from the pub across the road to high end options. She was very communicative and I couldn't have wished for more from a host.

We just stayed 5 nights with Justin and John and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of Airbnb. It’s in a lovely street and suburb - with lots of interesting buildings. Easy access to public transport. You can see the water from the back garden. Very generous hosts who left all the essentials plus lots of treats. The studio is clean and comfortable with oodles of charm. Justin and John were very kind and helpful with suggestions, recommendations and offers of assistance. We hope to return for another holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is brilliant, and is a great space to hang out when you aren't out and about in the city. It feels like someone's home, which isn't something we experience that often on Airbnb any more. Unfortunately the bath wasn't working but we were warned ahead of time about this and it didn't really affect our stay. The area is lovely - quiet (although there is some noise from aircraft flying overhead, common for Inner West properties in Sydney), lots of trees, cafes (Cherry Moon General Stores is fantastic), and pubs. It's also very easy to get into the city as there are buses very close by. Craig was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely consider staying here again!

My son lives in Mascot so I wanted somewhere close to him which was also pet friendly, clean, comfortable and walking distance to coffee etc and also Sydney Park which I had read was great for off leash walks. Everything met my expectations. A lovely home away from home. Everything we could need.

David was a very welcoming host. He proactively arranged for basic groceries like eggs and bread, which turned out to be super helpful, esp because we were traveling with a kid. Strawberries in the fridge were a life saver. There were also toys for our little one to play with - one of the toys kept our son busy and occupied ;). Super helpful host.

Phou was amazing to deal with and very attentive. The place was in a great location and suited our big group including children. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning 😊

Loved our stay here! The house was welcoming, lots of natural light, well equipped and nice and clean. Great modern bathroom. The street is nice and quiet and it was always pretty easy to find a car park nearby if not right out the front. Only a few minutes walk to the main streets and close to Woolworths and some good cafes. Our kids loved the park right across the street. Roslyn was a great host, she gave clear instructions and was very responsive.

I love coming back here - I always know it will be clean and the hosts are very receptive to any requests. It's a terrific location and worth the money

Great host and easy to deal with

Cemine's place was exactly as described! It is a hidden gem, 15mins to Olympic Park, 30mins to CBD, large garden, close to shops and cafes and restaurants, and wonderful amenities o on site! All of this, and is also very private and quiet! One note is that there is only street parking available, however there are many street parking spaces available.

The apartment was in a very strategic location, just a short walk to the train station, bus stops, and close to everywhere l needed to go. It was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also great - always quick to respond to any questions I had and very helpful throughout my stay. I really appreciated the smooth communication. If I come back to Sydney, would definitely stay here again. Very recommended!

An oasis in the inner-west! Everything in the apartment is thoughtfully curated for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. It is spacious, modern and well located in relation to the city, beaches and airport (everything being 30 mins or less drive or via public transport). Our family stayed for a few weeks and enjoyed many sunset games on the tennis courts, lazing by the pool, and the expansive, manicured gardens. The hosts and their charming dog, were so lovely and made our stay a true pleasure.

Great location in central position, parking is easily accessible, clean, great selection of wine glasses. We will be definitely be coming back

This accommodation was perfect for what we needed it for. It didn’t quite match the pictures in terms of furniture etc but that didn’t put us off at all. John and his family were helpful and accommodating. Even letting us use their dryer when it rained. It was simply a base for us and the pool was an added bonus. It was a lot cheaper than other accommodation nearby which sold it to us and I am glad that it did. I think we will definitely be booking to stay here again in the future.

This is a great place that has lots of potential. Rowen was very quick to take care of our concerns but it just needed a little attention. The view was amazing, location great, had lots of space for the five of us. It just needed some extra care. Thanks Rowen for the late check out. It made our last day a perfect end to a wonderful vacation!
