Unique and cozy cottage by the lake

Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shore of clean Lake Storträsk. The yard is a peaceful and scenic place for a vacation day where neither are the neighbors in sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake scenery or the life of the forest. The sauna is right by the beach, by boat or sub-board, you can go rowing or fishing. You can always swim in the winter. The yard has a gas grill and charcoal grill, as well as a campfire site. Sheets and towels are included.

Within a 40min drive from Helsinki, Katve Nature Retreat is our family-owned hideout surrounded by clean and quiet nature and ashore a beautiful freshwater lake. We are also located just a few km from the sea and archipelago with great hiking and paddling opportunities. The Kaisla Cabin is one of our 4 cozy cabins (two cabins semidetached) each with a private sauna. By the lake you'll find an outdoor fireplace and a summer kitchen perfect for cooking by the fire and enjoying the sunsets.

Come relax and sense the enchanting power of the sea! Spacious, cozy and very bright summer cottage (62 square meters) for 1-4 with sea views and a large terrace. Good driveway all the way. Driving distance e.g. from Espoo Iso Apple 80 km, 1 hour A new pier by the cottage where you can swim or admire the sunrise. Beautiful sandy beach a short walk away. Wood-burning sauna and enjoyment for two people, as well as a FatBoy hammock. Fishing area, lots of berries in the woods.

NOTICE! We keep a 1 day “cleaning break” after each visit. A completely renovated and winterized cottage (64m2 + 25m2 terrace) nearby the sea. There is space for max 6 persons (bedroom, sofa bed and loft) in this with all amenities (toilet, shower, dishwasher, washing machine, drying cabinet, ventilation unit etc) furnished cottage. There is also available a separate wood-heated sauna (built 1980), a small rowing boat and a parking area with electricity for charging/heaters

If you want to stay in a peaceful place by a clean water lake on the edge of a nature preserve...this place is for you. Compact beach cottage with room for 1-2 people, outdoor kitchen (running cold water), compost toilet, beach sauna with sauna . A boat, a lean-to, and a fire pit on the beach. Sheets and towels are included. If you need a car ride from Karja or Inko, send me a message and we'll work out more. The place is also on the Euro-velo 10 route.

Enjoy the sun on the south facing terrace, bbq on the Weber charcoal grill, calm down in the sauna, read books by the crackling log fire, walk and pick berries/mushrooms in the surrounding forests and bike through the idyllic Täktom village to discover Finlands southern pearl, Hanko.
