Villa holiday rentals in Cabo Verde

Petite escapade de 2j sur l'île de Maio avec notre fille de 5ans. Un chauffeur nous attendait à notre arrivé à l'aéroport pour nous conduire au logement. Nous avons alors été accueilli par Pompeo, une personne super gentille, qui nous bien expliqué les lieux, les restaurants à proximités à visiter ou aller. Le logement était parfait, nous avons été surclassé dans une suite magnifique! Nous avons adoré les décorations et les équipements proposés. Nous recommandons ce logement, tout était parfait, merci.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Appartamento pulito e ordinato,localizzato in una zona molto tranquilla e vicinissimo alla spiaggia. Colazione servita direttamente in camera. Lo consiglio!

What a wonderful place Luciano has created! Beautiful spacious apartment with amazing views across the sea and bay, and easy walking along the beach to the village. And Palmeira - what a fabulous village (a true taste of the ‘real’ Cape Verde) really lovely people, and amazing fresh fish at the Rotterdam Restaurant. Luciano is a lovely host, gave local recommendations, sorted transfers from/to the airport (and even let me use his washing machine!) This was the third stay for our first trip to Cape Verde, and totally made it!! If you are looking for something different from the ‘All Inclusive’ and more touristy areas of Sal, then would absolutely recommend this place - it’s just gorgeous.

We (family with three children) spend the first days in Cabo Verde at the Baia beach and Antonio’s place is absolutely recommendable. Tidy and with everything you need. We really felt home and Antonio was always available and responsive. We recommend this place without any doubt. Just note that you should buy all groceries you need in Mindelo as Baia has only two operative restaurants and a very small shop where you only get the absolute necessary things.

Wir waren 4 Nächte bei Francesca und es war ein Traum - die Anlage ist wunderschön, geschmackvoll und gepflegt. Francesca ist liebevoll und energetisch und war der perfekte Host. Sie organisierte uns eine Tour, Transfers und Restaurantbesuche in ihren Lieblingsrestaurants und hat damit unseren Urlaub zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. Der Strand mit diversen Beachbars ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, und auch in der Stadt ist man in ~10min. Francesca hat eine wunderschöne Oase auf dieser tollen Insel geschaffen und ich würde jedem empfehlen, hier zu wohnen. Grazie per tutto, Francesca!

Tolles Haus, mit gemütlicher Einrichtung und guter Ausstattung. Ruhige Lage, Abseits vom Toristentrubel von Santa Maria. Mit dem Aluguer (Sammeltaxi) ist man aber für 1,20€/Person schnell mal hingefahren. Am Strand waren wir fast immer die einzigen und auch am Pool mit Meerwasser war nie viel los. Wir hatten eine entspannte Zeit hier! Klopapier könnte etwas mehr da sein und die Stühle auf der Terrasse sind etwas unbequem und kaputt. Ansonsten alles top!

Une maison merveilleuse, parfaitement propre, joliment décorée et très bien équipée, dans un paysage de rêve (la terrasse donne sur l'océan: pendant notre séjour de 7 jours nous avons vu des dauphins et une baleine directement de la terrasse). Les très gentils et efficaces Ivania et Daniel ont été toujours présents pour aider avec tout ce dont nous avons eu besoin (des repas, un gâteau d'anniversaire, un tour de l'île, des conseils, des histoires sur Maio et ses habitants). Patricia est toujours à l'écoute et nous a énormément aidés, par exemple avec le transport depuis et vers Praia: énorme merci, Patricia, pour l'hospitalité parfaite! Nous y retournerons car l'expérience à Maio a été fabuleuse!

We had a lovely time . The villa is in a good location in the resort , near to the beach. Transport into Santa Maria is good - either taxis for €5 or the hotel bus a couple of a day. We choose to eat out sometimes and cook for ourselves as there was a small supermarket 10 mins walk from the resort. Magdalena was responsive to messages and helpful. There were a few things that needed fixing in the villa which Magdalena agreed to fix. The villa is spacious and comfortable. The staff on the resort were friendly and helpful.

Hemos estado una semana, la villa con piscina es perfecta por si quieres un poco de tranquilidad, pro Lo bueno es que tienes las instalaciones del hotel a un minuto, la verdad es que nos vamos encantados, y Andrew está siempre pendiente de todo, queremos volver!!!!!!

Sehr große und saubere Unterkunft in einem schönen, kleinen Dorf. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Superbe petite maison avec une vue à couper le souffle. La maison et les chambres sont spacieuses et agréables. La cuisine est fonctionnelle. Ornella est adorable et très disponible. La piscine de la résidence est incroyable avec un petit bassin pour les enfants. Nous avons pris les petits déjeuners livrés sur la table de la terrasse, c'était super. Je recommande vivement ce logement si vous venez à Maio.

Great villa in ideal location. Had all the essentials although we didn’t cook! Hard to find food supplies in the local shops so we ate out. The beach is fabulous and a 2 minute walk from the villa but the hotel had the most uncomfortable sun beds ever so take an extra towel. No cushions on the sun beds at the villa (we were told they are for display only) One thing that would have helped was an info guide for stuff like bin collection, local restaurants and basic local information. All in all a great stay, and would definitely recommend this villa.
