House holiday rentals in Cacabelos

The accommodation is worth it, from its facilities in the house to the shared facilities (pool). The location is quiet and beautiful, in addition to being attached to the village bar. What we have missed has been kitchenware for the 9 people we have gone, as well as chairs inside the house (although the bar quickly gave us a solution with chairs on the terrace), knives for cooking and something else. Except for this, the stay was wonderful and comfortable. The temperature in the house was excellent despite the low temperatures.

Super good everything, super quiet and super cool place, spacious and easy to reach house and very good attention from Eva at all times.

We went with the family and we were very comfortable. Bea who welcomed us, she was very charming, very attentive and indicated us where to go, what to do and where to eat. The perfect house, very clean and a very nice quiet environment

We had a wonderful stay at Alejandro’s place. The apartment had everything we needed and offered a beautiful view. We were welcomed incredibly warmly, and Alejandro made us feel right at home from the start. We had the most wonderful time at Sofía’s home. We loved the history and stories we gleamed from the beautiful photos on the walls and felt completely at home in this magnificent property. We slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. Sofía was a wonderful host and the cleanliness was above and beyond perfect. We were close to Las Médulas for a day of impressive history and across the street from some fun waterslides for the kids. We can’t wait to return to this wonderful home and enjoy our lazy days around the pool. A memorable time for our family! Thank you so much!

Staying in the house of Jesus and his family was a real pleasure. From the moment we arrived and we were given the directions, we were already treated at home. With their own friendliness and good do of a Galician family, with local recommendations, and even some other affection on their part to enjoy dinner. Attention to detail, family and friendly treatment, you can't ask for more. The adjacent space with the dining room, barbecue, garden and kitchen, is excellent. I would appreciate a better insulation of the dining room ceiling area, for the cold nights of Galicia. Regarding the housing facilities, being a group of 7 friends, the different stays, having heating available, several kitchens and bathrooms, facilitated this weekend. While it is true that the house is still under renovation due to its antiquated furnishings. It is a small inconvenience, which does not make it impossible to enjoy the house. We'll be back! Thank you Jesus!

Everything is perfect,the host, the village, the location of the perfect house to visit the entire Bierzo and León area. We have been superbly.

We had a very pleasant stay in this place. Although not centrally located in a city, its location is really great and strategic if you plan to visit both Ponferrada and Las Médulas as it allows easy access to both places by car. The accommodation itself was very good, clean and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's an ideal base for exploring the area.

Unbeatable place to rest, you have to take everything there is no shop or bar in the village. The house is spectacular and has a beautiful churrasquera area with all the amenities. Rosa's service was unbeatable. We will definitely be back. The accesses are better from the Leon area than from the one in Lugo.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Javier was so very friendly and helpful. He helped us navigate our way to Seceda which was in fact quite easy. The apartment is very comfortable, fitted with an excellent shower and the bed was so comfortable. Javier has lovingly restored his apartment, it’s is a real credit to his craftsmanship. We had a delicious supper brought to us, all using local produce. It’s a great place for hiking. We highly recommend a visit.

The house is great! Decorated with an exquisite taste, spacious and with everything you need to spend the holidays, even much better than in the photos. The surroundings are absolute peace. Nuria is lovely and let us leave later than indicated check-in. 100% recommended

The house is cozy, with a kitchen, bathroom and spacious rooms. Its stone walls keep it cool on the hottest days, and I would also highlight its cleanliness. At street level it has a wine cellar where you can store bikes, have a barbecue or spend some time outdoors. We were with our dog, but it's just as interesting without a pet. Lucia helped us with everything: the arrival, information about places to visit that she left within reach, etc. Pumares is a small, quite town; from home you can walk several routes, including the Camino de Santiago in winter. We thought it was a good place to get to know the Valdeorras region and its surroundings. Highlight the good neighbors who accompanied us. No parking issue. Highly recommended!

Amalia is a brilliant host - she was welcoming and friendly and responded immediately to any query. The location is great for cycling and walking. It’s an easy walk into the town of Samos where there are bars, two small shops, a post office and a hotel with a good restaurant. There’s plenty of private parking space and a big secure room to store bikes etc. The weather was not great for some of our stay so we particularly appreciated the comforts and cosiness of the house - central heating and a log burner, limitless hot water, comfy beds and sofa, good wi-fi and nice lighting. Thank you Amalia for an excellent stay.

It was like coming home to your parents. Not everything is brand new, but it is very cozy. The house is spacious and nice and cool. Has an extensive fully equipped kitchen with a nice BBQ, bathrooms with a great shower and good beds. A garden! You can park nearby. Quiet with a beautiful view. In addition, a host who responds quickly to our questions. Our hostess and host also spoiled us with bread, sweets, coffee & milk for breakfast. Renting for at least 3 nights is just planning, but combined with a rest day during the Camino we had a perfect stay. I can recommend it to everyone.

Thank you for welcoming us with the hot fire and the warm house. Lots of intimacy in quiet area, even for barbecueing. Each room had its own bathroom and everything was clean. Lots of firewood to be very comfortable at home. Yes we miss that they will refill the hand soap and some trash bags, but we did get along well. Cozy, warm and quiet house. Would come back again!

Highly recommended: the house is a small work of art, cozy and very beautiful (authentic rural crafts of the region), the gazebo located in the meadow behind the house and next to a creek is a delight (breakfast, meals, dinners, barbecues, card games, books, evenings ...), the village is very well located (nice valley, several excursions, river beach, easy access to towns and surrounding areas) and surprises the offer it presents (eaten well and at ease! ... do not forget to inform yourself of the musical offer it presents, if it is interesting you will be surprised!). The best: the treatment and attention of Juanjo the landlord (thank you!). The worst: it will surely not be easy for it to be available, it is quite requested :-) PS: We spent 11 fantaticos days in it :-))

If you plan to see the Rivera Sacra, Jose's house is the ideal place to set up your headquarters. From here you can learn a lot about the Rivera, and you will feel right at home. The host will always be available in case you need anything, just as it happened to us, and you can enjoy absolute tranquility in a great place. You rarely find hosts like Jose, who are so attentive and who care that your stay is as comfortable as possible, and that, seeing how the situation is, is very much appreciated. The house is just as seen in the photos and has everything a house can have, I recommend it 100%.
