Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Calais

We had a great stay - two adults and two teenage girls. Very spacious! Close to many beautiful attractions. Would definitely stay here again! Cozy old home. We were very close to the ferry to Deer Island and went whale watching from there. Also a short drive to St George and a little further to St Andrew’s. Lovely part of the province! Thanks!

The house was very clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. It had all the needed amenities. The location to Lubec and Canada was great!

Natalie and April's cabin on the lake is absolutely amazing! Extremely quiet and so peacefully relaxing! Very clean and organized with just about everything you could imagine needing available to you! We will definitely be booking with these wonderful ladies again next time we are visiting!

A beautiful old house with so much charm. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Home was very cosy and the perfect place to hold a family event. The wrap around porch with lighting was the perfect place to watch the sun go down. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you Stephanie for all the extras.

Lisa’s place was so beautiful n cozy, has everything you need for a staycation. I love that it’s right near the water n have full access. I would recommend this stay to anyone who needs a relaxing stay.

Dana’s place was a wonderful stay for my sister and mother and I. It was exactly as described and so charming. The view of the bay was stunning and an easy, short walk. The decks to sit on and enjoy the scenery were great. The bedrooms were nice with great views and the beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. When we return to Lubec we would gladly stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay at Shackford Cottage. It was cute and rustic but perfectly comfortable for me and my 3 sons. The location was even better than I imagined, with breathtaking views and a great walking path directly into town. The beds were comfortable and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We’d definitely book another stay here!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! We came up for a friend’s wedding and loved the area so much we are already talking about coming back next year. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. View was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

We booked this space for my parents from South Africa and they had a delightful stay at Eastport. The hospitality from our host,Janet, enhanced our experience. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and we could not wish for a more attentative host. The unit was pristine clean and beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Janet- thank you for taking care of us in the way you did.

We enjoyed a brief (3 night) stay in early May at Sunrise Seaside Cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable (especially the king bed) and coastal cute. The location is quite spectacular, especially for bird lovers (we saw as many as 19 bald eagles at one time, several heron, many types of waterfowl and, of course, loads of gulls! If you love nature, there is no end to the options in Lubec. We would gladly return!

Amazing place to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the water and wildlife. Neil was a superb host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome . The place was more beautiful than the pictures and the view and sunsets amazing ! Our golden Luna loved the daily walks down for the bay and spent hours in the water . We will definitely be back ! We loved our stay here. We spent two nights, with our two dogs, and the place was perfect. Kay gave us access to the entire pouch overlooking the sea, decorated with fresh flowers. The apartment was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and Kay could not have been more friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again.

Super comfortable and quiet! Loved how walkable it was to downtown restaurants and super close to the ocean and views.

This was our second time at the Driftwood cottage and we had an amazing week staying here. It’s such a peaceful place to enjoy a few days off. We saw several bald eagles and seals during our time here and took the kayak out one day to explore. Every night we had a beautiful sunset. Couldn’t ask for a better vacation!
