My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Wij hebben een fantastische tijd bij de accommodatie van Nadia gehad. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een heel mooi zwembad dat goed onderhouden wordt door Giacomo. Heel vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen tips om te doen in de omgeving. Goede ligging vlak bij Lucca en in een mooie groene omgeving. Wij zouden dit zo nogj een keer boeken.

Hier ist die überarbeitete Version mit dem Zusatz zur Umgebung und dem Wunsch, wiederzukommen: ⸻ Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Gegend und ist perfekt, um abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Das Haus war sauber und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Alltag braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Ilaria war jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert – alles hat super geklappt. Das Highlight ist der große, sehr gepflegte Garten mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen – ein richtig schönes, grünes Paradies. Der Pool macht das Ganze noch besser. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Casale perfettamente ristrutturato in una posizione fantastica per escursioni a piedi/in bici. Ideale per soggiorni di un weekend ma anche per periodi più lunghi. Totale disponibilità e gentilezza degli host. Tutto perfetto!

Amazing location and responsive host. Incredible pool with an outstanding view. House, especially the Kitchen, was well well stocked with amenities needed. Highly recommended!

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

We hebben genoten van het geweldige huis van Maria. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Maria en haar familie, waar we verwelkomt werden met een fles wijn en lekkere taart. We waren met 6 volwassenen. Er is meer dan voldoende ruimte. Fijn dat iedere slaapkamer voorzien is van een eigen badkamer. Het is een prachtig huis in een mooie omgeving met een heerlijk zwembad tussen de olijfbomen en het is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Erg fijn is ook de oplader voor de elektrische auto. We haalden elke morgen vers brood bij de plaatselijke bakker in het dorpje 5 minuten rijden met de auto. Goede uitvalsbasis voor de mooie steden zoals Lucca, Siena, Florence. Ook het strand is prima te doen. We hebben ons zeer thuis gevoeld. Maria en familie, bedankt voor de geweldige tijd in jullie mooie huis.

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.

We loved our stay here! The house and the views were truly as picturesque as it seems in the photos. A dream spot! The town itself is full of local flair and is beautiful too. Not touristy at all. Close enough to nearby towns though to explore more of Tuscany! Overall a great stay and Laura was a kind and responsive host.

Bardzo Polecam to miejsce ! Ilaria była cudownym gospodarzem ❤️ To był nasz pierwszy pobyt we Włoszech 🇮🇹 i czuliśmy się dobrze zaopiekowani. Ilaria była cudownie cierpliwa gdy pytałam o wszystko, bardzo dobra komunikacja między nami 🙌🏼❤️ Bardzo Cię cieszę że trafiliśmy do takiego domu ! Coś o domu : Był cudowny, klimatyczny i czuliśmy sie w nim wspaniale ☺️ Bardzo czysto i schludnie , wszystkie udogodnienia jakie tylko chcesz mieć, kuchnia wspaniale wyposażona, ręczniki do dyspozycji w dużej ilości, pościel i poduszki czyste i schludne, telewizja (Netflix oraz Disney idealnie dla dzieci na wieczorne oglądanie), zabawki i dużo dużo książek dla Dzieci 🧒🏼 Moje dzieci były zachwycone tym miejscem 🙌🏼 Pralka i suszarka do dyspozycji gości. Miłe i spokojne, klimatyczne miejsce. Sklepy i restauracje bardzo blisko. Cudownie było spacerować po okolicy. Najpyszniejsze lody 10 minut spacerkiem 👌🏼🤩 parking z dużą ilością miejsc parkingowych, piękne budynki, plac zabaw i park tuż obok.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ein absoluter Traum in der Toskana! Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus in Pieve di Compito war einfach unvergesslich. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht – von einer voll ausgestatteten Küche bis hin zu gemütlichen Schlafzimmern und einem herrlichen Garten mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf die toskanische Landschaft. Die Lage ist perfekt – ruhig und idyllisch, aber dennoch ideal, um Ausflüge nach Lucca, Pisa oder an die Küste zu machen. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Nähe zur Natur: Morgens das Zwitschern der Vögel, abends ein Glas Wein mit Blick auf die Hügel – pure Entspannung! Unsere Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie haben uns tolle Empfehlungen für Restaurants, Märkte und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder – dieses Haus ist ein kleines Paradies!

Da elisabetta siamo stati benissimo, tutti i servizi sono stati impeccabili, a partire dal check in dove elisabetta è stata flessibile riguardo all’orario è estremamente disponibile. la casa è perfettamente attrezzata di tutto il necessario e impeccabile a livello di pulizia. l’ ambientazione poi è da sogno. consiglio assolutamente un soggiorno, non ve ne pentirete!

Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder) haben eine Woche in der schönen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, besonders den schönen Garten haben wir sehr genossen! Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Wenn wir Fragen hatten, haben wir umgehend Antworten bekommen. Der Kontakt war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. In der Nähe von Lucca lag die Unterkunft optimal, um Ausflüge zu unternehmen. Wir können die Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Logement parfait pour rester au calme tout en étant à proximité de Pise et Lucca. Logement fidèle à la description, les instructions sont clairs. La clim est appréciable pour les jours de grosses chaleurs. Merci pour tout 😊

Ich möchte mich auf diesem Wege nochmals bei Sandro und seiner zauberhaften Frau für den herzlichen Empfang bedanken! Wir hatten eine traumhafte Zeit in ihrem Haus! Die Besitzer sind sehr sehr freundlich und waren flexibel, trotz unserer kurzfristigen Buchung. Man hat uns persönlich begrüßt und persönlich verabschiedet. Die beiden sind großartige Vermieter! Ich habe 3 große Hunde (2 Weimaraner, 1 Herdenschutzhund) und es war absolut kein Problem, diese mitzubringen. Natürlich sind meine Hunde auch brav :) aber des Öfteren musste ich in der Vergangenheit die Erfahrung machen, das andere Vermieter nur 1 Hund oder kleine Hunde akzeptieren- hier war das absolut kein Problem und auch kein Vorurteil, wie es mir oft passiert! Ich kann diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!!!! Das Haus ist sehr sauber & toll eingerichtet. Großes Dankeschön :) wir kommen wieder!

Vi havde en fantastisk uge. Sov godt hver nat, til hanegal som kun var hyggeligt. Vi fik æg fra hønsene hver dag. Og pool blev fyldt op med vand, selvom det var udenfor sæson. Vi følte os helt private og nød den skønne have og terrasse der var på stedet. Næste gang vi skal til Toscana, vil vi bo her igen. Susanne, Danmark.

We loved staying here! the views out of the terrace and even the bathroom window were something I’ve never seen before, right out of a movie. About a 15 minute drive to the closest city, San Miniato, which has great restaurants. This was such a charming & peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, and the visits from the neighborhood cats on the terrace was a bonus! :)

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

L’alloggio di Alessandro è ottimo per chi vuole staccare dal caos della città, si trova in una posizione tranquilla ed immersa nel verde ma comunque vicina ad un sacco di zone di interesse come Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) e così via… è un posto molto strategico, sopratutto se si hanno animali domestici con sè. La nostra bassottina - Focaccia - ha potuto scorrazzare liberamente nell’immenso giardino che si trova davanti all’alloggio - luogo in cui io ed il mio compagno abbiamo deciso ogni sera di far cena godendoci lo splendido tramonto 🌇 L’alloggio è bello, nuovo e dotato di una cucina davvero super rifornita (abbiamo anche potuto far la pizza!). La presenza di un condizionatore inoltre ci ha fatto molto piacere. Sicuramente ci torneremo, lo consigliamo fortemente 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro è stato sempre super disponibile nel rispondere ad ogni mia domanda e nel darmi preziosissimi consigli su cosa vedere/dove mangiare etc. Grazie Alessandro per l’infinita pazienza ?

We had one of our best family holidays ever.. the location and view was super and the village of Buti was an Italian gem .. We could not have been looked after better by Caterina and Martha who helped with the house and food , Martha made a wonderful dinner for us one night .. well worth the experience.. Caterina was just great for tips and suggestions , the pool was really clean and great for a cool down and family fun

Les photos sont très représentative , un séjour à quatre est très agréable. La vue du balcon est paisible. Avoir la possibilité de stationner l’auto devant la porte est un plus. Les épiceries sont à 15 minutes, et les restaurants sont dans un village voisin.

Nous avons passé 6 jours dans un endroit cosy, décoré avec goût. Allessandra et Égizia étaient très accueillantes et très soucieuses de notre bien être. Si nous revenons dans cette région, nous ne manquerons pas de reprendre contact. Bon compromis pour visiter Florence. belle région de Pistoia.

We booked Daniela’s house at fairly short notice and she was so accommodating. The place is spacious, clean, and very bright. It has lots of amenities, and we appreciated the parking spaces. Daniela was also very accommodating and let us check in early as our flight arrived in the morning. The area is very accessible to the city with a car or a taxi, and there are great restaurants and a supermarket nearby. It is also so close to the airport! Daniela was so responsive to any queries that we had. It made our experience so memorable. This is a fantastic place to stay with a group of friends. The area is very peaceful. I had the pleasure of meeting Daniela as we were leaving and she was even sweeter in person. I highly recommend her place.
