The sound of the sea is ever present in this spectacular cliff-side location, where endless views of Pico Island and the blue Atlantic soothe the senses. Enjoy early morning swims at the beach below, relax over leisurely breakfasts on the terrace and dine outside watching the stars. Horta, with restaurants, shops & activities, is just a 5 minute drive away. Well equipped & tastefully appointed, this cottage is truly unique.

Relax in this cottage with a unique and tranquil spot. Enjoy the fantastic view of Faial, the sea and the village of Madalena in the pool, Jacuzzi or sauna. Enjoy a beautiful wooden house in a unique and special place with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. Benefit from the walking tours overlooking the wonderful Pico mountain. Our accommodations are located a 2-minute drive and a 20-minute walk from Vila da Madalena, and include a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a sofa bed.

Relax in this unique and peaceful accommodation. Located in the valley of Almoxarife. 5 min walk to the most beautiful black sand beach of the island and 10 mins to the famous Horta marina and landmark downtown by car. Completely renovated, the house offers all modern comforts. All rooms have sea views. The villa "Quinta dos Maracujas" is a located on a vast orchard, where, depending on the season, you will be able to enjoy the exotic fruits. Bars and restaurants at the bottom of the street.

Almoxarife Beach - Casa da Parteira "a moagem"

About 4 km north from the city of Horta is Almoxarife Beach. In the "a moagem" space, there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. It features traditional architecture, dating back to the beginning of the last century. At the mill, a philosophy based on the traditional and sustainable is practiced. It consists of: apartment, garden, handicraft workshop, farm with animals, vegetables, fruits and seeds of traditional varieties.

Located minutes from downtown Madalena, “Casa da Barca” is a charming space granting guests picturesque views of the ocean and island of Faial from one side, and iconic Pico Mountain on the other. Lots of light, amazing view over the sea and where you can see the island of São Jorge in its fullness. First line of the sea! View of Pico Mountain, the highest point in Portugal. Very comfortable house, we used wood from the island in its interior. A very good location between Madalena and São Roque and close to the Airport. Well-equipped kitchen. Relax, read, watch the sea, the boats and the Mountain too.

Solar-powered wine house located in the Landscape of Pico Island Vineyard Culture - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. A cozy space for two with a bedroom, kitchenette open to living room and a bathroom. The wine house is overlooking the ocean, Faial island and Pico mountain.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Completed in 2024, Villa Valverde is located near the center of Madalena, overlooking the island of Faial. Set in a quiet environment, with a large lawn, a private outdoor pool and a barbecue area, it is the ideal place for family vacations.

Casa dos Salgueiros 135/AL

Our cottage, Os Salgueiros is nestled in a privileged natural setting on a quiet non- through road and with no close neighbors a few paces from the coastline. Guests can walk out of the front gates and go fishing hiking swimming or just watch the mesmerizing waves.
